Abstract

"APARELHO PARA LIGAR UM FLUXÈMETRO CORIOLIS A UMA CAIXA". Trata-se de um fluxómetro que tem uma caixa que encerra um tubo reto único circundado por uma barra de equilíbrio. As extremidades da barra de equilíbrio são acopladas por uma barra de suporte ao tubo de fluxo, assim como por elos de ligação da caixa com a parede interna da caixa. As extremidades do tubo de fluxo são acopladas a flanges de extremidade por meio de um componente levantado que tem uma abertura central para alojar, de modo a poder vedar, o terminal do tubo de fluxo. O tubo de fluxo projeta-se até além da extremidade da caixa e é acoplado, com vedação, a um componente de ligação em forma de cone na extremidade da caixa. Um vazio é definido pelo espaço entre a superfície externa do tubo de fluxo e a superfície interna do componente de ligação em forma de cone e os flanges de extremidade de modo a se reduzir ao mínimo a área de superfície do tubo de fluxo que é afetada pela solda entre a extremidade da caixa e o componente levantado dos flanges de extremidade. Os elos de ligação da caixa contêm dobras fora de plano para acomodar uma alteração no diâmetro efetivo da caixa e da barra de equilíbrio uma com relação à outra devida a condições térmicas cambiantes. Uma outra modalidade da invenção inclui um fluxómetro sem os flanges de extremidade. As extremidades do tubo de fluxo projetam-se até além das extremidades da caixa enquanto são acopladas com vedação ao componente de ligação em forma de cone nas extremidades da caixa. O fluxómetro pode ser fabricado, testado e balanceado e armazenado sem um flange. O fluxómetro é armazenado nesta condição até que seu emprego comercial esteja iminente, momento em que é dotado do flange de extremidade apropriado exigido pelo usuário final.
