Abstract

"SISTEMA DE SUSPENSãO PARA UM VEìCULO TENDO UMA BARRA ESTABILIZADORA DESACOPLáVEL E MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR UMA CARACTERìSTICA DO CITADO SISTEMA". Um sistema de suspensão inclui uma barra estabilizadora tendo um primeiro e um segundo segmentos ligados a respectivos membros de suspensão de veículo. O primeiro e segundo segmentos são seletivamente acoplados por um conjunto desacoplador para prover movimento coordenado ou descoordenado do primeiro e segundo membros de suspensão. O conjunto desacoplador está preferivelmente em comunicação com um controlador e sensores localizados adjacentes aos conjuntos de roda do veículo. O controlador interpreta os sinais dos sensores e determina-se o conjunto desacoplador deveria ser ativado. Em algumas configurações, um escorregamento limitado pode ser alcançado entre os citados primeiro e segundo segmentos de barra estabilizadora.
