Abstract

"DETECçãO DE NUCLEOTìDEOS POR TRANSFERêNCIA DE ENERGIA DE RESSONâNCIA FLUORESCENTE E MéTODOS PARA A MESMA". A presente invenção fornece novos processos para a detecção da incorporação de um nucleotídeo após uma reação de extensão de bases isoladas. Os processos fazem uso do efeito da Transferência de Energia de Ressonância Fluorescente (FRET) gerado por dois fluoróforos ligados ao mesmo filamento de ácido nucléico. Os processos podem ser utilizados, em solução ou em um suporte sólido, para aplicações que requerem a identificação rápida e precisa de um nucleotídeo em uma posição específica de um ácido nucléico, como para estudos de genotipagem.
