Abstract

SISTEMA DE APLICAçãO COM RECICLAGEM E USO INERENTE DE COMPOSTO QUATERNáRIO ANTIMICROBIANO, DE AMÈNIA. Uma composição antimicrobiana inicial e diluida é preparada. A composição é abastecida na unidade de aplicação antimicrobiana e aplicada a produtos que serão trabalhados, tais como aves recém-abatidas. Após a aplicação nos produtos que serão trabalhados, a composição retorna ao tanque de reciclagem. A concentração de agente antimicrobiano no tanque de reciclagem é controlada, e agente antimicrobiano adicional é adicionado automaticamente se a concentração de agente antimicrobiano na composição cair abaixo de quantidade desejada. A composição é periodicamente desviada para um tanque de captura, e o agente antimicrobiano é removido, de forma seletiva, da composição. O agente antimicrobiano removido e a composição remanescente são então descartados, de maneira apropriada. O agente antimicrobiano é, de preferência, composto quaternário de amónia, sendo ainda, de preferência, cloreto de alquilpiridínium e, de maior preferência ainda, cloreto de cetilpiridinium.
