Cepas apresentando crescimento favorável em um meio contendo 6-etoxipurina são selecionadas dentre uma população de bactérias Bacillus, e uma cepa apresentando elevada capacidade de produção de inosina é selecionada das cepas obtidas para se obter uma bactéria Bacillus apresentando capacidade aperfeiçoada de produção de inosina.
