Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA LIMPAR UM CATETER IMPLANTADO QUE ESTá CONECTADO A UMA DERIVAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma derivação que possui um alojamento e uma base. A base possui um primeiro conjunto de eletrodos se estendendo através da base. Um cateter é conectado ao alojamento. O cateter possui um comprimento longitudinal, uma extremidade proximal e uma extremidade distal. O cateter possui um segundo conjunto de eletrodos se estendendo ao longo do comprimento longitudinal do cateter. Pelo menos dois dos eletrodos do dito primeiro conjunto são conectados eletricamente nos dois dos eletrodos do segundo conjunto. O alojamento que inclui uma parede de alojamento externa penetrável por agulha autovedante. O sistema inclui uma montagem de sonda que é seletivamente penetrável através de uma parede de alojamento externa.
