Abstract

"EXTRATO DE GELéIA DE WHARTON, MéTODO PARA A OBTENçãO DE UMA CéLULA PROGENITORA HUMANA, MéTODOS PARA A PRODUçãO DE UMA POPULAçãO DE CéLULAS, POPULAçõES DE CéLULAS E MéTODO PARA A PRODUçãO DE TECIDO óSSEO". As células progenitoras humanas são extraídas da geléia de Wharton que se encontra dentro de uma zona de perivasculatura do cordão umbilical humano. A população das células progenitoras prolifera rapidamente, e abriga as células osteoprogenitoras e as células MHC -/-, e elas são úteis no desenvolvimento e no reparo de tecidos humanos, incluindo os ossos.
