Abstract

"CONJUGADOS DE POLISSACARìDEO-PROTEìNA DERIVATIZADOS DE MENINGOCOCOS MULTIVALENTE E VACINA". A presente invenção refere-se a conjugados de polissacarídeo-proteína, uma composição compreendendo um ou mais de tais conjugados de polissacarídeo-proteína derivatizados e processos de imunização de pacientes humanos com os mesmos. Os conjugados de polissacarídeo-proteína derivatizados são polissacarídeos capsulares purificados de sorogrupos A, C, W-135, e Y de Neisseria meningitidis derivatizados, quimicamente ativados e seletivamente anexados a uma proteína veículo por meio de uma ligação química covalente, formando conjugados de polissacarídeo-protéina capazes de promover imunidade de longa duração para uma variedade de cepas de N. meningitidis.
