Abstract
"DISPOSITIVOS E MéTODOS RELACIONADOS A BIOSSENSORES ELETROQUìMICOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema para o teste de analisados em uma amostra de um fluido biológico que inclui uma fita de teste que define uma cavidade para o recebimento da amostra. Pelo menos dois conjuntos de eletrodos ficam adjacentes à cavidade de amostra, incluindo um para a medição de uma propriedade da amostra, e um outro para a medição de uma ou mais outras propriedades da amostra, como, por exemplo, a temperatura e/ou a presença ou a magnitude de variáveis confusas. As medições são combinadas de modo a produzir o resultado desejado. Pelo menos um conjunto de eletrodos de trabalho e contadores possuem, cada qual, uma pluralidade de 'dedos' alongados interdigitados com os do outro eletrodo no conjunto. As aberturas entre os dedos podem ser muito pequenas, de modo que os dois conjuntos de eletrodos possam operar em um pequeno volume de medição da amostra.
