Um processo para a preparação de (met)acroleína e/ou de ácido (met) acrílico por oxidação parcial em fase gasosa catalisada heterogeneamente de um composto orgânico precursor sobre um leito fixo de catalisador novo, em que o processo é iniciado a uma velocidade espacial horária reduzida de mistura gasosa de carregamento sobre o leito fixo de catalisador.
