Abstract

"MéTODO PARA LAMINAR UM TARUGO SOLDADO CONTìNUO". é revelado um método de laminação de um tarugo soldado contínuo que tem juntas de solda em sucessivos locais ao longo do tarugo e em que o tarugo soldado contínuo avança através de pares de cilindros de sucessivas cadeiras de cilindro. As condições de laminação em dois sucessivas cadeiras são ajustadas de maneira tal que, quando uma junta soldada estiver entre duas cadeiras, compressão seja produzida na junta soldada, causando um aumento da área seccional transversal na junta soldada. A condição de laminação envolve sobrepor um aumento na velocidade do cilindro na cadeira de cilindro a montante, comparada com a cadeira de cilindro a jusante, com base em informação de rastreamento da junta soldada.
