Abstract

"INIBIDORES DE PROTEASE DE ASPARTILA HETEROCìCLICOS". A invenção descreve compostos da fórmula (I) ou um estereoisómero, tautómero, ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável ou solvato dos mesmos. Também estão descritos o método para inibir protease de aspartíla, e, particularmente, os métodos para tratar doenças cardiovasculares, doenças cognitivas e neurodegenerativas, e os métodos para inibir Vírus de lmunodeficiência Humana, plasmepinas, catepsina D e enzimas protozoais. Também estão descritos métodos para tratar doenças cognitivas ou neurodegenerativas, usando os compostos da fórmula (I), em combinação com um inibidor de colinesterase ou um antagonista msucarínico.
