Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA DE LIBERAçãO DE AGENTE TRANSDéRMICO ASSISTIDA POR FREQüêNCIA". A presente invenção refere-se a um equipamento e método para liberar por via transdérmica um agente biologicamente ativo compreendendo um sistema de liberação tendo um membro de microprojeções (ou sistema) que inclui uma pluralidade de microprojeções (ou série das mesmas) que são adaptadas para perfurar através do stratum corneum para dentro da camada epidérmica subjacente, ou camadas epidérmica e dérmica, uma formulação contendo o agente biologicamente ativo e um dispositivo indutor de oscilação. Em uma modalidade, o agente biologicamente ativo está contido em um revestimento biocompatível que é aplicado ao membro de micro-projeções. Em uma modalidade adicional, o sistema de liberação inclui um pacote de gel tendo uma formulação de hidrogel contendo agente que está disposto sobre o membro de microprojeções depois de aplicação na pele de um paciente. Em uma modalidade alternativa, o agente biologicamente ativo está contido tanto na formulação de hidrogel quanto no revestimento.
