Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA DE PRé-TRATAMENTO PARA INTENSIFICAR A DISTRIBUIçãO TRANSDéRMICA DE FáRMACOS". A invenção refere-se a um sistema de distribuição de fármacos para distribuir um agente biologicamente ativo através da pele de um paciente, que compreende (i) um emplastro de pré-tratamento adaptado para ser colocado sobre a pele do paciente, sendo que o emplastro de pré-tratamento tem uma membrana de revestimento e um arranjo de microprojeções, o arranjo de microprojeções ficando aderido à membrana de revestimento, o arranjo de microprojeções incluindo uma pluralidade de microprojeções adaptadas para perfurar o estrato córneo do paciente, o emplastro de pré-tratamento incluindo um modelo de pele que permanece sobre a pele do paciente depois que o emplastro de pré-tratamento é aplicado sobre a pele e removido da pele do paciente, e (ii) um emplastro de gel que tem uma superfície do topo e uma superfície do fundo, o emplastro de gel incluindo um reservatório que contém uma formulação de hidrogel, e o emplastro de gel tendo uma área de contato com a pele na faixa entre aproximadamente 0,5 e 30 cm¬ 2¬.
