A presente invenção refere-se a uma pré-forma, recipiente ou artigo plástico inclui uma parede com camadas múltiplas tendo pelo menos uma camada de uma resina de matriz, pelo menos uma camada de uma resina de barreira, um material de promoção de adesão misturada com a resina de barreira e/ou resina de matriz e uma composição de barreira ao oxigênio ativo misturada com a resina de barreira e/ou resina de matriz. O material de promoção de adesão promove a ligação entre as camadas de barreira e resina de matriz e inclui um polímero de amina, de preferência um polímero de imina tendo uma série de grupos amina primária, secundária ou terciária disponíveis. A resina de matriz é, de preferência, uma resina contendo éster, tal como PET. A resina de barreira é, de preferência, EVOH. A composição de barreira ao oxigênio ativo inclui um metal com um composto aditivo e pode incluir também um polímero hospedeiro.
