Abstract

SISTEMAS DE POLICETìDEO SINTASE DE PUFA E USOS DOS MESMOS. Esta invenção se refere a sistemas de policetídeo sintase (PKS) de ácido grado poliinsaturado (PUFA) de microorganismos bacterianos. Mais especificamente, esta invenção se refere a ácidos nucléicos codificando sistemas PKS PUFA, a proteínas e domínios dos mesmos que compreendem sistema PKS PUFA, a organismos geneticamente modificados compreendendo estes sistemas PKS PUFA, e a métodos para fazer e usar os sistemas PKS PUFA revelados aqui.
