Abstract

INTERFERON- BETA DEAMIDADO. Análogos de proteína de Interferon-<225> nos quais a asparagina na posição 25, numerada de acordo com o Interferon-<225> nativo, é deamidada exibem uma atividade biológica do Interferon-<225> humano nativo em um nível aumentado ou não requerem HA para estabilização da proteína. O produto deamidado é adequado para a fabricação em larga escala para incorporação em produtos terapêuticos contendo HA ou isentos de HA para o tratamento de doenças, incluindo esclerose múltipla. Uma técnica de mapeamento peptidico por endoproteinase-C que produz um perfil de caracterização para proteínas usando uma digestão enzimática seguido por RP-HPLC também é útil no controle de qualidade como uma ID e/ou teste quantitativo para os produtos deamidados.
