Abstract

COMPOSIÇçO E MÉTODO PARA O CUIDADO ORAL, E, MÉTODOS PARA INIBIR A INFLAMAÇçO EM UM TECIDO ORAL DE UM PACIENTE, E PARA PROMOVER A SAéDE ORAL EM UM PACIENTE. Uma composição para o cuidado oral compreende um composto fenólico antibacteriano e uma vitamina ou componente derivado de vitamina, que compreende um a uma pluralidade de derivados de vitamina ou vitamina antioxidante. Em uma modalidade, a vitamina ou o componente derivado de vitamina compreende a vitamina E, e o acetato de vitamina E, e opcionalmente um ou mais derivados de vitamina ou vitaminas adicionais. Em outra modalidade, o componente de vitamina ou de derivado de vitamina compreende uma vitamina antioxidante ou derivado de vitamina e uma fonte de vitamina B5. Um método para o cuidado oral compreende a aplicação de uma composição, como acima descrito, a uma superficie oral de um individuo.
