Abstract
SEPARADOR LìQUIDO-VAPOR, E, MéTODO PARA PROMOVER FLUXO DE REFRIGERANTE UNIFORME. é descrito um método e aparelho para promover fluxo de refrigerante uniforme em um trocador de calor de minicanais provendo-se um separador líquido-vapor entre um dispositivo de expansão e um tubo coletor de entrada de maneira tal que o refrigerante vapor passe diretamente para o compressor e somente o refrigerante líquido passe para ao tubo coletor de entrada. A separação líquido-vapor é obtida por meio de uma válvula flutuante que impede o fluxo de refrigerante líquido para o compressor e o fluxo de refrigerante vapor do coletor de saída, através da válvula e de volta para o coletor de entrada. Uma segunda válvula flutuante pode ser provida entre uma extremidade à jusante do coletor de entrada e o compressor com o propósito de remover qualquer vapor residual do liquido.
