Abstract

FORMULAçãO, FORMA DE DOSAGEM, E, USO DE UMA QUANTIDADE TERAPEUTICAMENTE EFETIVA DE UMA FORMULAçãO. A invenção refere-se a uma formulação para o tratamento de episódios maníacos associados com o Distúrbio Bipolar 1, que compreende um agente antipsicótico selecionado a partir do grupo que consiste de: um derivado de dibenzotiazepina; lítio; e divalproex. A formulação compreende um primeiro componente, que compreende uma primeira população do agente antipsicótico e pelo menos um componente subseqUente, que compreende uma população subseqUente do agente psicótico e que permite a liberação modificada do agente. A combinação do primeiro e dos componentes subseqUentes em operação fornece o agente antipsicótico em um modo pulsado ou controlado durante um período de até vinte e quatro horas.
