Abstract
MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CLASSIFICAçãO DE CéLULAS. Um aparelho para classificação e orientação de células de esperma inclui um par de paredes em arranjo confrontante e formando uma câmara de fluxo que tem uma entrada, uma saída a jusante e uma região de detector intermediária. A entrada recebe uma primeira e uma segunda corrente espaçada de fluido de entrada e uma terceira corrente de fluido de amostra contendo as células a serem classificadas. As primeira e segunda correntes têm respectivas vazões em relação à terceira corrente, de modo que a terceira corrente seja restrita, formando uma corrente de amostra relativamente estreita, de modo que as células sejam orientadas paralelas às paredes. Um detector detecta as células desejadas e um classificador a jusante do detector classifica as células desejadas a partir da corrente.
