A presente invenção refere-se a um processo aperfeiçoado para a preparação de diid robenzofu ranos substituidas por (propenil dissubstituídos) fenilalquila. O processo aperfeiçoado focaliza etapas para produzir intermediários chave, a saber, compostos de fórmula I, em que R^ 3^, R^ 4^, R^ 5^, R^ 6^ e x são aqui definidos.
