Abstract

AUMENTO DO RENDIMENTO DA METIONINA. A presente invenção se refere a um processo pra a produção de metionina e seus derivados pelo cultivo de um microrganismo em um meio de cultura apropriado compreendendo uma fonte de carbono e uma fonte de enxofre. O microrganismo e/ou o meio de cultura são modificados de tal forma que o rendimento de metionina/fone de carbono é aumentado. O isolamento da metionina ou seus derivados do meio de fermentação também é descrito.
