Abstract

método para produzir 3,4'-dihidroxibenzofenona. a presente invenção se refere a um processo para sintetizar a 3,4'-diidroxibenzonona através do ácido m-hidroxibenzóico e fenol na presença de um ácido lewis e de um ácido protônico. após a realização da reação, o ácido lewis e o ácido protônico são removidos e, em seguida, o produto de reação da 3,4'-diidrobenzofenona entra em contato com água (a uma temperatura não superior a 1 0°c) e com o hidróxido de amônia seguido da filtragem. posteriormente, o material filtrado pode ser reagido com um agente de acetilação na presença de um ácido inorgânico e de um carvão ativado para a produção da 3,4'-diacetoxibenzofenona.
