Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et une installation de régénération d'huiles lubrifiantes usagées ayant une faible teneur en fuel, acides gras et produits chlorés. Les huiles lubrifiantes usagées sont soumises aux étapes successives dans l'ordre: adjonction de bases fortes en solution aqueuse à raison de 0,5 à 3% de bases pures en masse d'huiles usagées, déshydratation et extraction des hydrocarbures légers, extraction et récupération de gasoil (stripping), extraction des impuretés. Selon l'invention, une adjonction complémentaire d'une base forte en solution aqueuse en raison de 0,1 à 1% de bases pures en masse d'huiles usagées est réalisée postérieurement à l'étape de déshydratation et extraction des hydrocarbures légers. Les huiles lubrifiantes usagées ainsi traitées sont débarrassées de leurs impuretés par distillation.
