Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de récupération d'éthane, d'éthylène, de propane, de propylène et de composantes hydrocarbures plus lourdes à partir d'un flux de gaz hydrocarbures. Le flux est refroidi et divisé en un premier et un second flux. Le premier flux subit un refroidissement plus poussé pour le condenser sensiblement en intégralité, et est détendu jusqu'à la pression de la tour de fractionnement pour ensuite alimenter la tour de fractionnement en un premier emplacement d'alimentation à mi-colonne. Le second flux est détendu jusqu'à la pression de la tour pour ensuite alimenter la colonne en un second emplacement d'alimentation à mi-colonne. Un flux de distillation est extrait de la colonne en dessous du point d'alimentation du second flux, et comprimé jusqu'à une pression supérieure, puis est mis dans une relation d'échange thermique avec le flux de vapeur de dessus de colonne pour refroidir le flux de distillation et le condenser sensiblement en totalité et ainsi former un flux condensé. Au moins une partie du flux condensé est dirigé vers la tour de fractionnement en tant que source d'alimentation de dessus de colonne. Les quantités et températures des sources d'alimentation apportées à la tour de fractionnement sont efficaces pour maintenir la température globale de la tour de fractionnement à une valeur à laquelle la partie majeure des composantes désirées est récupérée. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, le flux de distillation est extrait de la colonne au-dessus du point d'alimentation du second flux.
