Dans le présent exemple (fig. 1 et 2), ces moules élémentaires sont; au nombre de quatre, chacun d'eux étant des tiné au moulage de deux blocs. Un de ces blocs est représenté en coupe horizontale au coin supérieur de gauche & fig. 2 .et en pers pective à la fig. 5. 28 désigne les divisions intérieures de la boîte à mouler; 2 7 désigne les mandrins ou noyaux formant les creux des blocs;
Après avoir relevé lesdites -parois à l'aide du .chariot, on remonte le moule en intercalant une nouvelle planche 6 dans les (-chanerures 8 -des parois latérales du nioul,. et ce dernier est retransporté à la ma- t1irie oii le guidage parfait -du bâti fixe 24 sur les rails 25 lui assure une position exacte sur l'entretoise 7;
L'invention n'a.
Agglomerating machine. The present invention relates to an agglomerating machine of the pounding and combined shaking or vibration type. It can in particular be used in the manufacture of hollow blocks although its application can be extended to all blocks whatever their shape and dimensions.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the machine which is the subject of the present invention and the variants of, detail.

Been represented in this figure only in a partial and schematic manner; Fig. 2 is a partial plan, the upper left corner showing in horizontal section a chipboard block -and also showing in plan part of a pitting frame; Fig. 3 is a side elevation of the machine, this figure further showing a filling hopper and a carriage for feeding the mold;
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the upper part of the machine, and FIG. - 5 -is a perspective view of a block made by the machine; Fig. 6 is a partial view, in side elevation, showing the filling hopper and the carriage serving to feed the mold, the dispensing device shown in this figure being a variant of that shown in dotted lines in FIG. 3;
Fig. 7 ..is a partial end view, looking to the right of .la fig. G and corresponding to this figure; Fig. 8 is a second variant of the positive distributor of the hopper; Fig. 9 is a third further variant of this device; Figs. 10 to 13 are variants in great detail.
The compressed air press shown in fig. 1 to 4. Includes a fixed frame made up of a base 8 and an upper cross member 12 connected to each other by four spacer and guide columns 9. On the columns 9 slides vertically a pestle holder frame 11 to which is interchangeably fixed a pestle 10. This frame is integral with the ramming piston 16 moving vertically in a compressed air cylinder 16a fixed to the fixed cross member 12.
At the turn .du cylinder 16a is disposed the press pot 17 for performing the vibrations or shaking and the pitted. To this end, the press pot 17 is connected by two bars 18 and rigid ties 19 (fig. 3) to a frame 2 vertically assisted by four guide holes 1 sliding on the bars 9. This frame 2 surrounds the box. to be molded, described below, to which it is attached during the ramming and secoüage operations. The ramming cylinder 16a and the press pot 17 receive the compressed fluid through the input of distributors 15 and 14, respectively, mounted on a fixed box 1.3.
The distributor 15 can. be of any suitable type and can make it possible to lower the pestle 10 in accelerated fall.
On the base S rests the molding box or mold which has a rectangular shape and comprises two side walls 3, a rear wall 4 hinged on the side walls, a removable front wall 5 and a bottom 6 consisting of an interchangeable board resting on an between rod 7 which is fixed to the frame of the machine and fits into a notch 8 made at the base of the side walls 3. This mold 3, 4, 5, 6 is divided internally into several compartments each constituting an elementary mold intended for the molding of one or more blocks.
In the present example (fig. 1 and 2), these elementary molds are; four in number, each of them being tiné to the molding of two blocks. One of these blocks is shown in horizontal section at the upper left corner & fig. 2. And in perspective in fig. 5. 28 designates the interior divisions of the molding box; 27 denotes the mandrels or cores forming the hollows of the blocks;
26 designates blades or bars fixed ribidly. To the mandrels by brackets and connecting them together, these blades, as well as the divisions 28, freely crossing vertical slots 47 (fig. 2) made at the top:
m-'t of the walls of the mold-and being fixed to. their ends to the frame 2, the set of bars, the frame and the mandrels forming a rigid partitioned structure which, in the milk to carry out the de-coring as will be seen below and to allow the transport of the pitted mold to the dryer, can be moved vertically with respect to the.
molding box, but which, during the molding of the blocks, is made integral with this box. The walls of this box have teeth 21 on the outside which cooperate with pawls 20 pivoting on the frame 2, these pawls being manaerivrés from the outside by means not shown. The mold also carries two bosses 22 for its transport from the. press in the dryer as we will see below.
30 (fig. 3) designates the, feed hopper placed near the press. The material delivered by the , hopper is transferred inside the mold to. using a transport and dosing trolley, the frame of which is shown at 39 (fig. 1 and 3). This cart runs on a horizontal track including one. section rests on the frame 2 (fig. 1) and the remaining section of which is fixed to the, frame supporting the. hopper. It is controlled by a compressed air cylinder 29 (fig. 3).
The carriage 39 is provided with prismatic compartments 44 constituted by sheets or flaps 42 which can vote pi thanks to. axes 41 in adjustable bearings 40 of the carriage. These cavities, the number and spacing of which correspond to those of the ra.naées of blocks. mold, receive in succession the mixture from the hopper in the movement of the carriage below said hopper, as will be seen later, to then unload it inside the molds, when the carriage has been brought above 'them, by the simultaneous operation of the flaps 49.
To this end, these flaps are subjected at their lower ends to the action of mounted helical cams; by a shaft 34 rotating in the carriage 39 and provided with a hand wheel 33, these cams being arranged to open or close the shutters 42 at will, following the key direction of rotation of the flywheel.
When opening] (# s flaps 42 using the handwheel 33, the material contained in the cavities 44 falls into the molds, being preferably guided in its fall by caps 45 with which the mandrels 27 are fitted (fig. 1 and 3).
To make it possible to vary the filling capacity of the cavities 44, additional sheets 43 are preferably mounted as slides on the sheets or shutters 42.
The trolley fills up automatically as it passes under the hopper 30, the register 31 of which it opens and closes using stops. The carriage 39 is further actuated by means of a rack gear shown in dotted line in FIG. 3 the stripping reel and dispenser 32 key the hopper. This organ has not been shown in FIG. 3 only in a schematic manner and by way of example, and it will preferably be replaced by the dispensing device shown in FIGS. 6 and 7.
This positive device comprises a series of reels 60 aotionned by a rack 67 meshing with a toothed wheel 66 on the shaft of which is mounted a pulley 65 transmitting the movement to another pulley 64. The shaft of the pulley 64 carries pallets and constitutes one of the reels.
This reel transmits its movement to the others with the help of 63 pins, and the pallets of the whole series of reels entangle from one shaft to another and bring the concrete to the part cc b </ I> cd of the hopper, part of which the capacity is equal to that of the dosing trolley. In fig. 6, the metering carriage is in the end of filling position, being about to close the register 31 by its stop 80 in its movement towards the mold, that is to say from left to right.
At the end of its travel towards the hopper, the metering carriage again opened the register 31 by opening means, not shown, similar to the closing means, and the concrete contained in la, </ B> part ca be d of the hopper falls into the carriage, during the course of the carriage towards the mold, the concrete is distributed in all the prismatic cavities 44,
being scraped by the lower part of the hopper 30. The shape and position of the reel paddles are such that concrete can no longer pass through. the reels when they are stationary, that is to say when the metering carriage is off.
The filling of the molds is carried out in several times, and preferably twice, in equal volumes, each filling operation being followed by a vibration or shaking operation, then by ramming.
The operation of vibrations or jolts is carried out by printing on the frame 2, after having engaged the pawls 20 of said frame under the teeth 21 of the molding box, an up-and-down movement, using the pot of press 17 -acting through the bars 18 mentioned above.
To this end, using the valve 14, air is sent into the press pot 17 to lift it and subsequently lift the assembly (read frame 2 and the mold, then, by ma. Inversely, this air is allowed to escape so as to let down the press pot 17 and the mold. This double operation is repeated as many times as necessary. A series of vibrations is thus obtained which allow the material to pile up in the mold.
The ramming device has a key locking device for the ram operated by compressed air. This device (fig. 1 and 2) comprises a piston 46a returned by a res out and receiving compressed air (live or exhaust) by a tube 46b Q communicating with the hollow rod of the piston 1.6. This rod slides on a fixed internal tube 46e which communicates with the exhaust of the ramming apparatus or with the fresh air piping via a flexible tube 46d provided with a valve.
The piston 46a acts on a shoe. oscil lant 46 intended to cooperate with a locking plate-46e (fig. 1), fied at a suitable height to the columns 9, when compressed air is admitted through the flexible tube 46d.
The shelling operation is carried out using the pestle 10 receiving its. .control of the aforementioned piston 16. To this end, the distributor 15 is operated so as to cause the air which was located below said piston to pass above the piston 16. The balance is upset by the weight of the pestle 11, 10 which falls on the material contained in the mold.
To prevent the formation of ridges, which could result from parts of the surface of the mold material not being pounded, the. pestle head 10 has slots 10a which engage. exactly on the connecting bars 26 and the divisions 28, and the height of these bars. 26, 28 is such that, after the second filling or final filling of the molds, the upper level of said bars is flush with the surface of the uncompressed concrete, while. That, after this second ramming and before the final demolding, their lower level is flush with the level of the compressed block.
It follows that the parts located under the bars, 26, 28, and therefore not pounded, are ultimately at the same level as the pounded parts, which avoids the formation of raised parts.
After this second ramming operation, the coring or removal of the mandrels and internal divisions of the molding box is carried out using the same apparatus as that used for the shaving operation, this is that is to say, using the press pot 1 7 and the members 18, 19, 2 ,. 26, but after having released the pawls 20 from the bosses 21 so that the mold remains in place. In this movement, all of the mandrels 27 of their tie bars 26 and of the internal divisions 28 of the mold slide through the head of the pestle 10 until it comes into contact with the frame 11.
At this time, the base of the mandrels 27 exceeds the level of the mold by a few centimeters, and the latter can; therefore, be removed conveniently and transported to the dryer.
The transport of the mold to the dryer is carried out by means of a carriage 24 rolling on triangular rails 25 (FIG. 1) fixed to the frame of the machine. This carriage is preferably provided with a lifting frame 23 on which the mold rests for its movement, the elevation of the frame 23 relative to the fixed frame 24 can be achieved by any means, for example mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic. , such as those used in lift platform trucks for transporting loads.
The operation of this machine goes beyond the foregoing description, but it will be briefly summarized as follows: The dosing cart brought under the hopper to be filled there is brought full above the mold and its contents are unloaded. in the mold by opening the flaps 42 using the handwheel 33. The carriage is then brought back under the hopper for the second filling-6 and the first shaking operation is then carried out, followed by the first shelling operation as described.
After raising the pestle, the carriage is returned to the filled state above the mold and the second series of mold filling, shaking and ramming operations is carried out as the first, the ramming being stopped when the block is reduced # to the desired height. The pestle is then blocked using the oscillating shoe 46 (FIG. 2).
The pillar being wedged and the base of the head of the pestle 10 in contact with the compressed blocks, the coring is then carried out by sending air "with the aid of the valve 14, into the movable cylinder 17 which rises while driving; the mandrels 27. and the interior divisions 28. The pitting being completed, the cleats are released by operating the net valve controlling the pipe 46d and air is sent under the piston 16, this which has the effect of lifting the pestle.
From then on, nothing stands in the way of transport; -from the mold 3, 4, 5 to the dryer-using the eliariot 24. On its arrival at the dryer, the mold is lowered to, using the forklift truck so as to rest the board 6 on a support placed at the below. The mold is then opened, which is obtained by removing the removable front wall 5 and causing the two side walls 3 to pivot around the rear wall 4.
After having raised said -walls using the .carriage, the mold is reassembled by inserting a new board 6 in the (-chanerures 8 -of the side walls of the nioul ,. and the latter is retransported to the mat- t1irie where the perfect guiding of the fixed frame 24 on the rails 25 ensures it an exact position on the spacer 7;
the system 2 ,, 2,6, 27, 28 is then allowed to descend for the following molding, the frame 2 falling inside the mold and the elements 26, 27, 28 falling around the mold and into the notches. of said mold.
This machine has, among others, the following advantages; The control by compressed air is applied to the three operations of ramming, shaking and pitting, which are combined in the same machine and which are carried out with the aid of control devices (16, 17). reduced and out of reach of dust.
The combined shaking and de-coring devices make it possible, with a large reduction in labor, to considerably reduce the breakage of fresh blocks (fragile products) during their transport from the machine to the dryer, while ensuring a position and a rigid and absolute closure of the molding box on the machine frame, which is essential for ramming operations.
The operation of the device for removing the mandrels 27 and the internal divisions 28 of the molding box is mechanical, on the other hand, the opening of the molding box in the dryer, opening carried out by hand by removing or removing the walls considerably reduces the die-casting resistance, which in turn allows a greater number of blocks to be molded at one time. This demoulding system makes it possible, on the other hand, to manufacture blocks with half faces.
The blocks, usually produced in the number of eight in each operation, have. practically one length: double their width and the thickness of the median partition (fig. 5) is generally double that of the marginal walls. Various variations of the devices of the present machine will now be described.
Fig. 8 is a schematic sectional view of the lower part of the hopper and of a fragment of the metering cart and shows another way of filling this cart. In this figure, the metering carriage, with its cavities 44, is assumed to be moving to the left for filling under the hopper 30. Its rack 67, which can actuate stripping reels,: as in fig. 3, 6 -and 7, acts by jerking on a finger 71 fixed under the hinged bottom 70 of the hopper 30, this bottom being returned by a spring, after each jerk, to its lower position.
The vibrations produced by 67 and 71 cause the concrete to flow in the metering cart as it moves, and this flow can be regulated by the amplitude and frequency of the shaking - and by the tilted his bottom 70.
In fig. 9; which is a variant of FIG. 8, the bottom 70 'carrying a finger to shake its 71' is mounted on a pin 72 and a res comes out recalls the bottom: 70 'to the closed position. When the metering carriage begins its movement from left to right, that is to say from the hopper 30 towards the mold, an inclined face 67 'of the rack 67 brings the finger 71' to the position 71 "which brings the bottom 70 'to the 70 "position - and consequently causes the concrete to flow.
This flow is facilitated by the vibrations of the finger 71 'and of the bottom 70' thanks to the action of the rack 67. The flow can be regulated by the inclination of the wall of the hopper 30 and by the degree of opening of its lower orifice.
In fig. 10 shows a system for automatic opening and closing of the cavities 44. The pivots 41 of the flaps 42 are placed so that the force for opening the cavities 44 is roughly equivalent to the live force of the valve. dosing trolley at the end of its travel towards the mold, so that the trolley stops at the same time as it empties.
For this purpose, a fixed ramp 90 causes the lifting of the top 92 of the articulated system 42, 91, 91, 42 (91 being connecting rods connected to the flaps 42 and to a pin 92) and brings it to the dotted position in which the cavities 44 are open. The closing of the cavities 44: is obtained by the own weight of the articulated system, when the metering carriage returns to the hopper. All the elements 42 'are made integral by a connecting rod 93 connecting all. the points of articulation of the elements 91 between them.
Fig. It represents an accessory device of the dosing trolley, this device consisting of a series of truncated pyramid-shaped funnels 57 combined with -dispensers taken matic or frustoconical 45 'whose base is of the same projection that the mandrels 27. The funnels and distributors are equal in number to that of the mandrels - and they are fixed under the metering carriage, so that the distributors 45 'distribute the mixture in the mold at the desired locations.
Using the to slide flaps 42, 43, the first cavity 44a of the dozer carriage is given a slightly greater capacity than the others, so as to discharge an excess of mixture. the front of the mold, towards the wall 5. In this way the front part of the belt 56 of the metering carriage, which corresponds to the circumference of the mold and at the same time prevents the flow of concrete out of the mold, scrapes the excess mixture and distributes it in the other parts of the mold when the carriage moves from right to left to go back under the hopper. The final excess is dumped onto an inclined plate 58 and from there returns to the hopper.
If desired, -on can overlook or under the. plate 6 from the bottom of the mold of vertical or horizontal snacks, by pneumatic or other rnoj-ens, in order to homogenize the mixture in the mold. Another arrangement would consist in providing on the platform 23 of the transport carriage curved leaf springs on which the board 6 would rest during the ramming.
The modification shown in Figs. 12 and 13 Used to remove the blocks from the mold on the machine itself. The mold is formed by side walls 3 'carrying hinges 51 pivoting around axes 52 capable of rising and falling in guides 53 fixed: to the base of the. machine. A hook 54 keeps the pin 52 in its low position.
The rear walls and .avant 4 'and 5' are in two parts each articulated on the ends of the side walls 3 'by hinges. The ramming and the shaking are carried out in the manner already described, the erochet 54 being released to allow vertical movements of the mold.
The pitting is also carried out as it has been said, but the demolding takes place on the same machine, thanks to the fact that the sides and the bottoms of the mold can be opened by rotating them around the di hinge verses; in this device, shaking can only take place with possibility. to join and separate at will the board forming the mold base with this mold.
If desired, in the case of smooth blocks (not molded) the mold box can be permanently attached to frame 2 or be combined with the latter (the latter arrangement being shown at the bottom left of fig. 1). to allow simultaneous pitting and demoulding on the press itself. This double operation is carried out in this case by raising the rigid assembly of the mold box, the cores and the dividing bars while the pestle is held against the blocks.
Of course, in this case, the bottom of the mold would be connected to the side walls in a detachable manner.
The invention did. been described and shown for explanatory purposes only, but. in no way limiting, and it goes without saying that various modifications could still be made to it without departing from its essence for this.
