Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Entwieklerfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller Entwicklerfarbstoff erhalten wird, wenn man tetrazotiertes o-Tolidin, Salizylsäure und 2' Methyl-3'-arnino-5'-sulfo-l-phenyl-3-methyl-5 pyrazolori in molekularen Mengen aufeinander einwirken lässt, wobei man die Tetrazover- bindung sowohl zuerst mit der Salizylsäure, wie auch mit dem Pyrazolonderivat kuppeln kann.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein braunrotes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit oranger, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit rotvioletter Farbe löst. Er färbt ungeheizte Baumwolle in lebhaft orangen Tönen, welche durch Diazotieren auf der Faser und nachfolgende Entwicklung mit Betanaphtol ohne wesent- liche Nuancenänderung waschecht fixiert werden.
<I>Beispiel</I> .T Die Tetrazoditolyllösung aus 21,2 Teilen o-Tolidin wird mit der sodaalkalischen Lösung von 14,5 Teilen Salizylsäure zum Zwischen produkt vereinigt und dasselbe mit der schwach alkalisch reagierenden Lösung des Dinatrium- Salzes von 28,3 Teilen 2'-Methyl-3'-amino-5'- sulfo-l-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon weiterge kuppelt. Die Kombination ist nach wenigen Stunden beendigt. Man wärmt alsdann auf 70 o C an und salzt den Farbstoff aus.
Beispiel <I>2:</I> Zu der Tetrazoditolyllösung aus 21,2 Teilen o-Tolidin lässt man bei 0-5o C die Lösung des Dinatriumsalzes von 28,3 Teilen 2'- MMethyl-3'-amino- 5'-sulfo-1-phenyl-3-methyl-5- pyrazolon zufliessen. Sobald unverändertes Tetrazoditolyl sich nicht mehr nachweisen lässt, gibt man die- Lösung von 14,
5 Teilen Salizylsäure und 15 Teilen Natron 100 % zu und lässt bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur weiter rühren. Nach wenigen Stunden ist die Reak tion beendigt. Man wärmt auf 70 o C an, neutralisiert das überschüssige Natron mii Salzsäure und salzt den Farbstoff aus.
