Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Azofarbstoffes aus 4-(p-Toluolsulfonmethylamino)-1-methoxy- 2-aminobenzol und 2-Oxynaphtalin-3-karbon- säure-p-naphtylamid. Beispiel:
6,12 Gewichtsteile 4-(Toluolsulfonmethyl- amino)-1-methoxy-2-aminobenzol werden ge löst in etwa 50 Gewichtsteilen Wasser und 7 Gewichtsteilen Salzsäure 20 B6 und mit 1,4 Cäewichtsteilen Natriumnitrit diazotiert.
Die Diazoverbindung wird vereinigt mit einer Auflösung von 7,5 Gewichtsteilen 2- Oxynaphtalin-3-karbonsäure-ss-naphtylamid in 10 Gewichtsteilen Natronlauge von 40 Bö und etwa 800 Gewichtsteilen Wasser.
Der entstehende bordeauxrote Nieder schlag kann abfiltriert und getrocknet werden. Der Farbstoff ist ein bordeauxrotes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauroter Farbe löst. Der Farbstoff kann in Substanz, wie auf einer Grundlage erzeugt werden.
Process for the preparation of an azo dye. The subject of this additional patent is a process for the preparation of an azo dye from 4- (p-toluenesulfonmethylamino) -1-methoxy-2-aminobenzene and 2-oxynaphthalene-3-carbonic acid-p-naphthylamide. Example:
6.12 parts by weight of 4- (toluenesulfonmethylamino) -1-methoxy-2-aminobenzene are dissolved in about 50 parts by weight of water and 7 parts by weight of hydrochloric acid 20 B6 and diazotized with 1.4 parts by weight of sodium nitrite.
The diazo compound is combined with a dissolution of 7.5 parts by weight of 2-oxynaphthalene-3-carboxylic acid-ß-naphthylamide in 10 parts by weight of 40 boilers of sodium hydroxide solution and about 800 parts by weight of water.
The resulting burgundy precipitate can be filtered off and dried. The dye is a burgundy red powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue-red color. The dye can be generated in bulk, such as on a base.
