Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes aus       1,1,4-Trimethyl-cyclohepten-(2)-aldehyd-(3)    und Aceton.    Gegenstand der vorliegenden     Erfindung     ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines bis  her unbekannten Kondensationsproduktes aus       1,1,4-Trimethyl-cyclohepten-        (2)-aldehyd-(3)     und Aceton, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet  ist, dass man ein Gemisch des     1,1,4-Trimethyl-          cyclohepten-(2)-aldehyd-(3)    und des Acetons  mit einem Kondensationsmittel behandelt.  



  Das Kondensationsprodukt ist eine bei  98-100  (0,2 mm) siedende Flüssigkeit,  weist Veilchengeruch auf und kann als Riech  stoff verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  100     gr        1,1,4-Tricnethyl-cyclohepteti-(2)-          aldehyd-(3)    werden in 200     cm3    Aceton gelöst  und mit einer Lösung von 5     gr    Natrium in  75<B>cm,'</B> Methylalkohol versetzt. Das Gemisch  wird nach einiger Zeit mit     Oxalsäure    ange-    säuert und nach dem     Abdestillieren    der Lö  sungsmittel in Äther aufgenommen und mit       Sodalösung    gewaschen. Der Siedepunkt des  Kondensationsproduktes liegt bei 98 -100    (0,2 mm).

  The condensation product is a liquid boiling at 98-100 (0.2 mm), has a violet odor and can be used as a fragrance.



  <I> Example: </I> 100 g 1,1,4-tricnethyl-cyclohepteti- (2) -aldehyde- (3) are dissolved in 200 cm3 acetone and mixed with a solution of 5 g sodium in 75 cm , '</B> methyl alcohol added. After some time, the mixture is acidified with oxalic acid and, after the solvents have been distilled off, taken up in ether and washed with soda solution. The boiling point of the condensation product is 98-100 (0.2 mm).

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden sationsproduktes aus 1,1,4-Trimethyl-eyclo- hepten-(2)-aldehyd-(3) und Aceton, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein Gemisch aus 1,1,4- Trimethyl - cyclohepten - (2) - aldehyd-(3) und Aceton mit einem Kondensationsmittel behandelt. Das so erhaltene Kondensationsprodukt ist eine bei<B>98-1000</B> (0,2 mm) siedende, nach Veilchen riechende Flüssigkeit.
