Wheel for vehicle, with removable rims. The subject of the invention is a wheel for a vehicle, with removable rims, having the particular feature that the wheel body comprises a peripheral part forming a hollow rim on which are mounted removable rims to < / B> pneumatic tire and which encloses a longitudinal rib, as well as means for interlocking the latter and the removable rims, the part forming the hollow rim being also arranged to enclose the tubes to inflation valve pneumatic bands.
In the accompanying drawing, given to as an example, FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 show, respectively, in section along the line 1-1 of fig. 3, in plan and in partial elevation, an embodiment of the wheel according to the invention, comprising two removable rims provided with pneumatic tires.
The wheel body has, around the circumference, side flanges to ' and to " rising outwards so as to to form a rim hollow and of which that a 'has a flared end part, while the other, at ", ends at less distance from the axis of the body wheel that the cheek has, so that on the cheek a a ring c can be put in the form of a wedge, held in place by the retractable tabs g (fig. 3). The wheel body a is seen from an annular rib a "disposed sensibly at equal distance from the cheeks < B> to ' and a "and provided with a curved table a"' concentric to the axis of said wheel body,
which nerve and table, suitably braced à by means of transverse ribs a ", are interrupted at a point over a suitable distance, where there are two transverse ribs a" arranged perpendicularly to the rib a "and to which the ribs d ' connect the ends of said rib a" and of its table a "'.
Around the wheel body a is arranged a crown b integral with a cross member b " of such shape that it can be housed in the interval between the transverse ribs. sales a ". The cross member bl 'presents to -its ends in the form of forks of sufficient dimensions to fit respectively, when the removable rims d to pneumatic tires are in place, the studs < B> d ' made integral with said rims, studs which are hollow to receive the tubes d " to valves for inflating the pneumatic tires of the rims d,
these pipes thus being housed inside the part forming the hollow rim of the wheel body.
The crown b rests on the table a "'of the annular rib a2' with the crosspiece b \ introduced into its housing and fitting the nipples d ', < / B> and it serves as a support by its inclined peripheral parts, on the one hand, for one of the bead of one of the rims, the other bead of which rests on the flared part of the cheek a ' and, on the other hand, for one of the beads of the other rim, the other bead of which rests on the bevelled part of the ring c.
In the wheel thus established, the two removable rims, mounted on the wheel body, are connected to the hollow rim part of the latter by the cross member b "fitting the nipples d ' and being housed between the transverse ribs a "of the hollow rim part of the wheel body, this connection being established by interlocking without resorting to a wedging and allowing mounting and to remove the rims simply and quickly in a way that is easily understood without having to give any additional explanations.
This wheel comprising a wheel body with hollow rim protecting from external actions the various parts of the assembly (leaving protruding than the legs g), thus satisfies practical requirements well.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment described. Thus, for example, the crown b can be replaced by a series of parts embedded in the ad hoc housings provided, during the manufacture of the wheel body, in the table a "D, and forming a link. ensuring the locking of the two removable rims; in this arrangement, the longitudinal rib à2l) inside the hollow rim would be interrupted from distance to distance. Then, the crossbar b \ < / B> does not need to be integral with the crown b and would then be supported, by suitable means, in the hollow rim part of the wheel body.
Then the crown b could be discontinuous at the location of the transverse ribs a "and abut against the lateral faces of the cross member b". </ B > In the end, the annular rib a2 'with its table a 200 could be such that it only supports the crown b from distance to distance.
