  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Azofarbstoffes.            L    s wurde gefunden, dass man zu sehr       bäuchechten    Farbstoffen von     Alizarinnuan-          cen    gelangt, wenn man die     Diazoverbindung     von     G-Chlor-2-toluidin    mit dem     4-Chlor-3-          toluidid    der     2.3-Oxynaphtoesäure    kuppelt.  Der Farbstoff kann für sich allein zwecks  Verwendung als roter Pigmentfarbstoff her  gestellt werden, er kann aber auch auf der       vegetabilischen    Faser erzeugt werden.

   Die       Bäueliechtheit    dieses Farbstoffes ist im       Gegensatz    zu derjenigen ähnlich zusammen  gesetzter Farbstoffe ganz überraschend.  



       Beispiel:     Die aus 14,1     gr        6-Chlor-2-toluidin    in üb  licher Weise dargestellte     Diazoverbindung     lässt man unter Rühren in eine wässerige  Suspension von     33        gr    2 .     3-Oxynaphtoesätire-          4-Chlor-3-toluidicl    einfliessen, bereitet durch  Auflösen in Natronlauge und Wiederaus-    fällen mit verdünnter Essigsäure. Der Farb  stoff scheidet sich in roten Flocken aus;  darauf wird filtriert, gewaschen und ge  trocknet.

       Example: The diazo compound, prepared in the usual way from 14.1 g of 6-chloro-2-toluidine, is left with stirring in an aqueous suspension of 33 g 2. Pour in 3-Oxynaphtoesätire-4-Chloro-3-toluidicl, prepared by dissolving in sodium hydroxide solution and reprecipitating with dilute acetic acid. The dye separates out in red flakes; it is then filtered, washed and dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azo- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, da.ss man die Diazoverbindung des 6-Chlor-2-toluidins mit dem 4-Chlor-3-toluidid der 2.3-Oxy- naphtoesäure kombiniert. Der neue Farb stoff hat Alizarinnuance und die mit ihm auf der Faser erzeugten Färbungen sind gegenüber den mit bekannten ähnlich zu sammengesetzten Farbstoffen hergestellten vollkommen bäuchecht.
