Abstract
Ziel der Erfindung ist ein Mittel, das eine bessere Unkrautbekaempfung ermoeglicht. Das neue Mittel enthaelt erfindungsgemaesz als Wirkstoff ein 1,2,3-Thiadiazol-5-carbon-saeureamid-derivat der allgemeinen Formel, worin beispielsweise bedeuten: R&ind1! Wasserstoff oder einen gegebenenfalls ein- oder mehrfach durch Sauerstoff- oder Schwefelatome unterbrochenen und gegebenenfalls durch Halogen substituierten Alkylrest, R&ind2! Wasserstoff, einen gegebenenfalls substituierten C&ind1!-C&ind18!-Alkylrest, C&ind2!-C&ind8!-Alkenylrest, C&ind2!-C&ind8!-Alkinylrest und andere; R&ind3! Wasserstoff, einen gegebenenfalls substituierten C&ind2!-C&ind8!-Alkenylrest,C&ind1!-C&ind18!-Alkylrest,gegebenenfalls substituierten Aryl-C&ind1!-C&ind3!-alkylrest,in Mischung m.Traeger-und/oder Hilfsstoffen.

Die Erfindung betrifft Mittel, die neue 1,2,3-Thiadiazol-5-carbonsäureamid-derivate mit herbizider, wuchsregulatorischer, entblätternder sowie fungizider Wirkung enthalten.

In der Pflanzenproduktion hat die Unkrautbekämpfung drei wesentliche Funktionen zu erfüllen: Sie muß die Erträge sichern, die Verwertbarkeit der Ernteprodukte ge-währlelasten und die Arbeits- und Produktionsbedingungen verbessern* Vielfach stellt die moderne Unkrautbekämpfung erst die Voraussetzung für die Vollmechanisierung einer Betriebssparte, oder sie schafft die Möglichkeit für die Einführung neuer Techniken* Veränderungen dieser Art haben starke Auswirkungen auf die landwirtschaftliche und gärtnerische Betriebswirtschaft, so daß allgemeine wie spezielle technische Fortschritte gerade auf dem Gebiet der Herbizide sehr gefragt sind, zumal die bekannten Mittel dieser Art die an sie gestellten Anforderungen nicht in vollem Umfang erfüllen können,, . ·

Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, Verbindungen aufzufinden, die wuchsregulierende, entblätternde, herbizide und fungizide Eigenschaften aufweisen und die als Wirkstoffe in Mitteln zur Unkrautbekämpfung geeignet sind. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch ein Mittel gelöst, das gekennzeichnet ist durch einen Gehalt an mindestens einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel

Die Wirkung ist zum Teil systeinisch. Besonders vorteilhaft bekämpfbar sind dikotyle und monokotyle Unkrautarten der Gattungen Digitalis, Trifolium,Portulaca, Papaver, Daucus, Kochia, Gypsophila, Lactuca, Solanum, Eschholtzia, Cheiranthus, Phacelia, Euphorbia, Linum, Convolvulus, Brassica, Datura, Cichorium, Ipomoea, Setaria, Agrostis, Phleum, Alopecurus, Phalaris, Dactylis, Festuca, Arrhenaterum, Lolium, Bronms, Avena, Allium, Cucumis, Medicago, Stellaria, üenecio, Matricaria, Lamium, Centaurea, Amaranthus, Galium, Chrysanthemum, Polygonum, Sorghum, Echinochloa, Digitaria Cyperus, Poa und andere.
Die Aufwandmengen für eine Unkrautbekämpfung betragen etwa 0,5 bis 5,0 kg Wirkstoff/ha.
Eine selektive Unkrautbekämpfung ist zum Beispiel in Kulturen von Getreide, Baumwolle, Sojabohnen und Plantagenkulturen möglich. Die größte Wirkung entfalten diese Wirkstoffe, wenn sie auf einen vorhandenen Unkrautbestand oder bereits vor dessen Auflaufen gespritzt werden. Die genannten Säkulturen können auch einige Tage nach der Spritzung gedrillt v/erden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können auch die natürliche Entwicklung der Pflanzen verändern zum Erreichen verschiedener landwirtschaftlich oder gärtnerisch nutzbarer Eigenschaften. Es ist verständlich, daß nicht jede Verbindung gleiche regulierende Wirkungen bei jeder Pflanzenart, Anwendung s art, Anwendungstermin oder Anwendungskonzentration hervorruft.

Die Applikation der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen kann erfolgen auf Samen, Keimlinge vor oder nach dem Auflaufen, auf Wurzein, Stengel-, Blätter, Blüten, Früchte oder andere Pflanzenteile«
Im allgemeinen ist die Steuerung des natürlichen Wachstums visuell zu erkennen an Veränderungen von Größe, Form, Farbe oder Struktur der behandelten Pflanze oder ihrer Teile.
Als Beispiele werden folgende, durch die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen verursachbare Entwicklungsänderungen der Pflanzen genannt:
Vergrößerung des Blattes Hemmung des vertikalen Wachstums Hemmung der Würze!entwicklung
Anregung des Enospenaustriebes oder der Bestockungstriebe
Intensivierung der Bildung von Pflanzenfarbstoffen
Entblätterung .
Es wurde.·· außerdem gefunden, daß die gekennzeichnete Verbindung gegen verschiedene Schadpilze wirksam sind, zum Beispiel der Gattungen Botrytis, Cercospora, Erysiphe, Helminthosporium, Piricularia, Plasmoparpa,Tilletia und aridere.
Dies hat den Vorteil, daß gleichzeitig mit der Regulierung des Pflanzenwachstums eine Bekämpfung von pflanzenpathoge- nen Pilzen erreicht werden, kann, was von besonderer technischer Bedeutung ist.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können entweder allein,

in Mischung miteinander oder mit anderen Wirkstoffen angewendet werden .Gegebenenfalls können andere Entblätterungs-, Pflanzenschutz oder Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel je nach gewünschten Zweck zugesetzt werden.
Sofern eine Verbreiterung des Wirkungsspektrums beabsichtigt ist, können auch andere Biozide zugesetzt v/erden. Beispielsweise eignen sich als herbizid wirksame Mischlingspartner· Wirkstoffe aus der Gruppe der Triazine, Aminotriazole, Anilide, Diazine, Uracile, aliphatischen Carbonsäuren und Halogencarbonsäuren, substituierten Benzoesäuren und Aryloxycarbonsäuren, Hydrazide, Amide, Nitrile, Ester solcher Carbonsäuren, Carbamidsäure- und Thiocarbamidsäureester, Harnstoffe, 2,3»6-Trichlorbenzyloxypropanil, rhodanhaltige Mittel und andere Zusätze.
Unter anderen Zusätzen sind zum Beispiel auch nicht-phytotoxische Zusätze zu verstehen, die mit Herbiziden eine synergistische Wirkungssteigerung ergeben können, wie unter anderem Netzmittel, Emulgatoren, Lösungsmittel und ölige Zusätze.
Zweckmäßigerweise werden die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe oder deren Mischungen in Form von Zubereitungen, wie Pulvern, Streumitteln, Granulaten, Lösungen, Emulsionen oder Suspensionen, unter Zusatz von flüssigen und/oder festen Trägerstoffen beziehungsweise Verdünnungsmitteln und gegebenenfalls von Netz-, Haft-, Emulgier- und/oder Dispergierhilfsmitteln, angewandt.
Geeignete flüssige Trägerstoffe sind zum Beispiel Wasser, aliphatische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Cyclohexanon, Isophoron, DimethylsUlfoxid,

Als Trägerstoffθ eignen sich Mineralerdeny zum Beispiel Tonsil5 Silicagel, Talkum, Kaolin Attaalay, Kalkstein, Kieselsäure, und pflanzliche Produkte, zum Beispiel Mehle«,
An oberflächenaktiven Stoffen sind zu nennen zum Beispiel Calciumligninsulfonaty Polyoxyethylen-alkylphendtether, Naphthalinsulfonsäuren und deren Salze, Phenolsulfonsäuren und deren Salze, Formaldehydkondensate, Fe>*ttalkohölsulfonate , "sowie substituierte Benzolsulfonsäuren und deren Salze.
Der Anteil des bezieh>ungsweise der Wirkstoffe(s) in den vep-
schiedenen Zubereitungen kann in weiten Grenzen variieren» Beispielsweise enthalten die Mittel etwa 5 bis 95 Gewichtsprozente Wirkstoffe, etwa 5 bis .95 Gewichtsprozente flüssige oder feste Trägerstdffe sowie gegebenenfalls bis zu 20 Geichtsprozenten oberflächenaktive Stoffe*
Die Ausbringung der Mittel kann in üblicher Weise erfolgen, zum Beispiel mit V/asser als Träger in .Spritzbrühmengen von etwa 100 bis 5000 Liter/ha. Eine Anwendung der Mittel im sogenannten Low«j-Volume~ und Ultra-low-Volume-Verfahren ist ebenso möglich wie ihre Applikation in Form von sogenannten Mikrogranulaten,

worin R., Rp und R~ die oben angeführte Bedeutung haben, X ein Halogenatom, vorzugsweise ein Chloratom, und B ein einwertiges Metalläquivalent, vorzugsweise ein Natrium-, Kalium oder Lithiumatom, bedeuten.
Die Umsetzung der Reaktionspartner erfolgt zwischen 0 und
ο 120 G, im allgemeinen jedoch zwischen Raumtemperatur und
Rückflußtemperatur, des entsprechenden Reaktionsgemisches.
Zur Synthese der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen werden die Reaktanden in etwa äquimolaren Mengen eingesetzt. Geeignete Reaktionsmedien sind gegenüber den Reaktanden inerte Lösungsmittel. Die Wahl der Lösungs- beziehungsweise Suspensionsmittel richtet sich nach dem Einsatz der entsprechenden Acylhalogenide, der angewandten Säureakzeptoren und der Metallverbindungen.
Als Lösungs- beziehungsweise Suspensionsmittel seien beispielsweise genannt: Ether, wie Diethylether, Tetrahydrofuran und Dioxan, aliphatisch^ und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Petrolether, Cycohexan, Benzol, Toluol und Xylol, Carbonsäurenitrile, wie Acetonitril, Ketone, wie Aceton.
Als Säureakzeptoren eignen sich organische Basen, wie zum Beispiel Triethylamin oder Ν,Ν-Dimethylanilin und Pyrxdinbasen oder anorganische Basen, wie Oxide, Hydroxide und Carbonate der Erdalkali.- und Alkalimetalle. Flüssige Basen, wie Pyridin, können gleichzeitig als Lösungsmittel eingesetzt werden.

Die nach den oben genannten Verfahren hergestellten erfindungiögemäßen Verbindungen können nach den üblichen Verfahren aus dem Reaktipnsgernisch isoliert werden, beispielsweise durch Abdestillieren des eingesetzten Lösungsmittels bei normalem oder vermindertem Druck oder durch Ausfällen mit Wasser»
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen stellen in der Regel färb- und geruchslose kristalline Körper oder färb- und geruchslose. Flüssigkeiten dar, die schwerlöslich in Wasser, mäßig löslich in*'aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen, wie Petrolether'* und Cyclohexan, gut löslich in halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoffen, wie Chloroform und Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffenj wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Ethern, wie Diethylether, Tetrahydrofuran und Dioxan, Carbonsäurenitrilen, wie Acetonitril, Ketonen, wie Aceton, Alkoholen, wie Methanol und Ethanol, Carbonsäureamiden, wie Dimethylformamid, SuIfoxiden, wie Dimethylsulfoxid, sind.
Als Lösungsmittel zur Umkristallisation bieten sich insbesondere Cyclohexan, Acetonitril und Diisopropylether an.
Die Ausgangsprodukte zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen sind an sich bekannt oder können nach an sich bekannten Verfahren hergestellt werden«
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend an einigen Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert. Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Herstellung der erfindungsgemaßen.Verbindungen:

4-Methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-carbonsäure-(N-acetyl-N-cyclohexylmethy1)-amid
16,8 g (0,07 Mol) 4-Methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-carbonsäure-(cyclohexylmethyl)-amid werden in 35 ml (0,32 Mol) Essigsäure^isopropenylester suspendiert und mit 0,04 ml konzentrierter Schwefelsäure versetzt. Anschließend wird 28 Stunden unter Rückfluß erhitzt, danach wird das zurückbleibende öl mit 50 ml Fentan zur Kristallisation gebracht,und aus Cyclohexan umkristallisiert.
Aasbeute: 14,7 g = 74,6 % der Theorie
Fp.: 73 bis 74 0C - farblose Kristalle
4-Methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-carbonsäure-(N-benzoyl-N-cyclohexylmethyI)-amid
Bine Lösung von 23,9 g (0,1 Mol) 4-Methyl-i,2,3-thiadiazol-5-carbonsäure-(cyclohexylmethyl)-amid in 200 ml Tetrahydrofuran wird 2 Stunden mit 2,4 g (0,1 Mol) Natriumhydrid auf Rückflußtemperatur gehalten. Dann werden bei 0 bis 10 0C unter Kühlung 14,06 g (0,1 Mol) Benzoylchlorid zugesetzt. Nach einer Reaktionszeit von 2 Stunden wird die Lösung eingeengt und der resultierende Rückstand vorsichtig mit Wasser versetzt. Anschließend wird wiederholt mit Ether ausgeschüttelt. Die über Magnesiumsulfat getrockneten Etherextrakte werden eingeengt und die zurückbleibenden Kristalle aus Isopropylether umkrstallisiert.
Ausbeute: 13,0 g = 38 % der Theorie

Anschließend wird noch 15 Minuten unter Rückfluß erhitzt. Danach läßt man abkühlen , filtriert den Niederschlag ab und engt die organische Phase ein. Das zurückbleibende Öl wird in Ether aufgenommen und mehrfach mit Wasser ausgeschüttelt. Die über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknete Btherphase wird eingeengt und das zurückbleibende Öl bei 40 C im Vakuum getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 11,Og= 71,2 % der Theorie nD 20j 1,5291 - farbloses Öl

47,8 S (0,2 Mol) 4-Methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-carbonsäure-(cyclohexylmethyl)-amid, gelöst in 100 ml Toluol, werden mit 41|6 g (0,2 MoI) Phosphorpentachlorid bei Raumtemperatur versetzt und anschließend,1 Stunde unter Rückfluß erhitzt. Daraufhin wird die Lösung eingeengt und das zurückbleibende öl mit Cyclohexan digeriert und aus Cyclohexan umkristallisiert.
Ausbeute: 40,0 g = 77,5 % der Theorie Pp.: 51 bis 52 0C -farblose Kristalle
Die folgenden Beispiele dienen zur Erklärung der Wirkungsweise und der überlegenen Wirkung der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen.
Im Gewächshaus wurden die in der Tabelle aufgeführten erfind ungsgemäßen Verbindungen als wäßrige Emulsionen beziehungsweise Suspensionen in einer Aufwandmenge von 5 kg Wirkstoff/ha in 600 Liter Wasser/ha auf die Testpflanzen Sinapis (Si), Solanum (So), Beta vulgaris (Be), Gossypium (Go), Hordeum (Ho), Zea mays (Ze), Lolium (Lo) und Setaria (Se) im Vor- (V) und Nachauflaufverfahren (N) gespritzt. 3 Woche nach der Behandlung wurde das Behandlungsergebnis bonitiert, wobei

Im Gewächshaus wurden die aufgeführten Pflanzen vor dem Auflaufen mit dem genannten erfindungsgemäßen Mittel in einer Aufwandmenge von 1 kg Wirkstoff/ha behandelt. Das Mittel wurde zu diesem Zweck als Suspension mit 5OO Litern Wasser/ ha gleichmäßig auf den Boden ausgebracht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, daß das erfindungsgemäße Mittel wichtige Unkräuter vernichtete, während die wirtschaftlich bedeutenden Sojabohnen ungeschädigt aufliefen.

In einem Gewächshausversuch wurden Gurken vor dem Auflaufen mit Aufwandmengen von 0,3 kg, 1 kg beziehungsweise 3 kg/ha der genannten erfindungsgemaßen Verbindung behandelt. Dazu wurde der Wirkstoff als 20%iges Emulsionskonzentrat in wäßriger Emulsion mit einem Flüssigkeitsaufwand von 500 Litern .Spritzbrühe pro Hektar ausgebracht.
Drei Wochen nach der Behandlung wurde der wuchsregulatorische Effekt festgestellt durch Messung d§r Länge und Breite des ersten Laubblattes. Die Meßergebnisse wurden zu denen bei unbehandolten Kontrollpflanzen in Relation gesetzt. Wie aus den Meßergebnissen hervorgeht, trat durch die Behandlung mit der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindung eine starke Blattvergrößerung auf. Außerdem waren die behandelten Pflanzen intensiver grün.

Junge Weinrebenpflanzen mit etwa 5 bis 8 Blättern wurden mit den angegebenen'Konzentrationen tropfnaß gespritzt, nach Antrocknen des Spritzbelages mit einer wäßrigen Aufschwemmung von Sporangien des Pilzes (etwa 20. 000 pro ml) blattunterseits besprüht und sofort im Gewächshaus bei 22 bis 24 0C und möglichst wasserdampfgesättigter Atmosphäre inkubiert.
Vom zweiten Tage an wurde die Luftfeuchtigkeit für 3 bis Tage auf Normalhöhe zurückgenommen (30 bis 70 % Sättigung) und dann für einen Tag auf WasserdampfSättigung gehalten. Anschließend wurde von jedem Blatt der prozentuale Anteil pilzbefallener Fläche notiert und der Duichschnitt je Behandlung zur Ermittlung der Fungizidwirkung wie folgt berechnet:

Nach einer Woche wurde die befallene Mehltaufläche in % von der gesamten Blattfläche geschätzt. Die Fungizidwirkung berechnet man wie folgt:

Wirkung der Blattbehandlimg gegen, Piricularia oryzae an Reissämlingen im Gewächshaus.
Junge Keispflanzen wurden mit der in der Tabelle angegebenen Wirkstoffkonzentration tropfnaß gespritzt. Nach Antrocknen des Spritzbelages wurden die behandelten Pflanzern sowie unbehandelte Kontrollpflanzen durch Aufsprühen einer Suspension von Sporen (etwa 200 000/ml) des Blattfleckenerregers Piricularia oryzae inokuliert und feucht bei +25 bis +27 0C im Gewächshaus inkubiert.
Nach 5 Tagen wurde festgestellt, wieviel Prozent der Blattfläche befallen war. Aus diesen Befallzahlen errechnete man die Fungizidwirkung wie folgt:

Gerstensaatgut mit natürlichem Befall durch Helniinthosporium gramineum wurde unbehandelt beziehungsweise wie in der Tabelle angegeben behandelt,in Pflanzengefäße mit Erde gesät und bei Temperaturen unter +16 C der Keimung überlassen. Nach dem Auflaufen wurden die .Keimlinge täglich 12 Stunden mit Kunstlicht beleuchtet. Weizensaatgut wurde je kg mit 3 g Sporen des Steinbranderregers Tilletia caries kontaminiert. Unbehandelte beziehungsweise wie in der Tabelle angegeben behandelte Körner wurden mit ihrem bärtigen Ende in Petrischalen mit feuchtem Lehm gedrückt und bei Temperaturen unter +12 C 3 Tage inkubiert. Anschließend wurden die Körner entnommen und die Petrischalen mit den zurückbleibenden Steinbrandsporen weiter inkubiert bei ca. +12 0C.
