Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Bekämpfung von Wasserunkräutern und Algen mit einem substituierten Phenoxy-(Phenylthio)-alkylamin
in einer für diese Bekämpfung ausreichenden Menge.
Aus J. Med. Chem. 14, 133 (1971) sind bereits bestimmte Biphenylyloxyalkylamine
bekannt, mit denen sich die durch ADP-induzierte Plättchenaggregation in vitro hemmen läßt. Einige
dieser Verbindungen werden auch vorliegend verwendet.
In US-PS 2 935 439 wird die Herstellung einer Reihe halogensubstituierter
Aminoalkanolarylether mit fungicider Wirkung beschrieben, die zu den vorliegenden Verbindungen ähnlich
sind.
Aus US-PS 3 808 257 geht eine Reihe von N-Cyanoalkyl-N-cycloalkyl-N-phenoxyalkylaminen
hervor, die Wasserherbicide sein sollen.
In US-PS 3 677 735 werden substituierte Phenoxyalkylamine beschrieben, mit denen sich ebenfalls Wasserunkräuter bekämpfen
lassen sollen.
Die Erfindung befaßt sich nun mit einem neuen Verfahren sowie mit neuen Mitteln zur Schwächung der Lebenskraft von Wasserunkräutern
oder Algen durch Einsatz von Phenoxy-(Phenylthio)-alkylaminen der Formel I

Unter C3~Alkenyl wird Allyl oder Prop-1-enyl verstanden.
Die Herstellung entsprechender Säureadditionssalze erfolgt ausgehend von einer Säure solcher Acidität, daß hierdurch
der Aminorest der jeweiligen Verbindung reagiert. Zu Beispielen hierzu geeigneter Säuren gehören Chlorwasserstoffsäure,
Bromwasserstoffsäure, Salpetersäure, Schwefelsäure,
Oxalsäure, Methansulfonsäure oder p-Toluolsulfonsäure.
Die Herstellung von Säureadditionssalzen wird in bekannter Weise durchgeführt.
Die erfindungsgemäß verwendeten Phenoxy-(Phenylthio)alkylamine
können nach bekannten Verfahren hergestellt werden. Ein solches Verfahren besteht in der Umsetzung eines Aminoalkylhalogenids
mit dem Alkalisalz eines entsprechend substituierten Phenols in einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel.
Ein anderes Verfahren besteht in der Umsetzung eines substituierten
Phenoxyalkylhalogenids oder Phenylthioalkylhalogenids mit
einem entsprechenden Amin bei erhöhter Temperatur. Diese Umsetzung
läßt sich durchführen, indem man die Reaktanten in einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel, wie Ethanol, erhitzt und im
Anschluß daran das gewünschte Produkt durch Destillation oder Bildung eines Säureadditionssalzes gewinnt.
Das Verfahren kann auch so durchgeführt werden, daß man das substituierte
Phenoxyalkylhalogenid oder Phenylthioalkylhalogenid mit einem Oberschuß des jeweiligen Amins in einem Reaktionsgefäß aus rostfreiem Stahl erhitzt. Die Isolierung des Produkts
aus dem Reaktionsgemisch erfolgt dann in Form der freien Base oder des Säureadditionssalzes des erhaltenen
substituierten Phenoxy-(Phenylthio)alkylamins.
Die zur Synthese der vorliegenden Verbindungen als Zwischenprodukte
benötigten substituierten Phenole, Aminoalkylhalogenide und Amine sind im Handel erhältlich oder lassen sich

nach literaturbekannten und dem Fachmann geläufigen Methoden synthetisieren.
Zur Herstellung der Aminoalkylhalogenide läßt man ein Aminoalkanol mit einem Halogeniermittel, wie Thionylchlorid oder
Phosphoroxybromid, in einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel reagieren und isoliert anschließend das gewünschte Aminoalkylhalogenid als Hydrohalogenidsalz. Im einzelnen wird hierzu auf
J. Med. Chem. 14, 133 (1971) verwiesen. Hierzu löst man beispielsweise 3-Dimethylaminobutanol in Chloroform, kühlt die
Lösung, sättigt sie mit Chlorwasserstoff und gibt dann unter Rühren und weiterem Kühlen eine Lösung von Thionylchlorid in
Chloroform zu. Anschließend läßt man das Reaktionsgemisch auf Raumtemperatur kommen und rührt es über Nacht, worauf
man etwa 2 Stunden auf Rückflußtemperatur erhitzt. Sodann
wird das Reaktionsgemisch zur Trockne eingedampft und der dabei erhaltene Rückstand mit Ethanol mehrmals einer Blitzdestillation unterzogen. Durch Umkristallisieren des hierbei
anfallenden Rückstands aus Ethanol-Ether gelangt man zu
3-Chlor-N,N-1-trimethylpropylamin-hydrochlorid, das bei
144 bis 146 *C schmilzt.
Eine weitere Klasse von Zwischenprodukten sind die omegahalogenalkoxysubstituierten Phenylverbindungen, und diese
werden ebenfalls nach der bereits erwähnten Literatur J. Med-Chem. 14, 133 (1971) hergestellt. Hierzu erhitzt man beispielsweise eine Lösung von S-Chlor-2-hydroxybiphenyl, Kalium
hydroxid und 1,10-Dibromdecan in Methanol über Nacht auf Rück
flußtemperatur. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird dann abgekühlt und
filtriert, worauf man das FiItrat zur Entfernung des Lösungsmittels unter Vakuum einengt. Das dabei zurückbleibende rohe
flüssige Material wird in Ether gelöst, und die Etherlösung
wäscht man dann der Reihe nach mit verdünntem wäßrigem Natriumhydroxid sowie mit Wasser solange, bis die Waschflüssig-

keiten neutral sind. Die dabei anfallende organische Schicht
wird dann über einem geeigneten Trockenmittel getrocknet, filtriert
und unter Vakuum destilliert, wodurch man zu einem bei etwa 230 bis 235 'C unter einem Druck von 0,1 mm siedenden
Produkt gelangt, das als 2- (10-Bromdecyloxy) --5-chlorbiphenyl
identifiziert wird.
Auch die als Zwischenprodukte benötigten Aminoalkanole lassen
sich ohne weiteres nach den in der Literatur bekannten Verfahren herstellen. Die Herstellung von 2-Methylaminoäthanol erfolgt
beispielsweise, indem man ein Gemisch aus Methylamin und Ethylenoxid in Methanol in einem verschlossenen Druckreaktor etwa
12 Stunden auf etwa 14O *C erhitzt. Zur Gewinnung des gewünschten
Produkts wird das Reaktionsgemisch destillierte
Die erfindungsgemäß geeigneten Verbindungen lassen sich im
allgemeinen nach folgenden Verfahren herstellen.
1-i/3-(5-Chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)propyl:/-2-methylpiperidin-hydro-
chlorid
Man stellt ein Gemisch aus 20,4 g (0,10 Mol) 5-Chlor-2-hydroxybiphenyl
und Natriumethoxid (hergestellt aus 2,3 g Natrium in 150 ml absolutem Ethanol) her und versetzt dieses dann
mit 21 g (0,12 Mol) 1-(3-Chlorpropyl)-2-methylpiperidin. Das
Reaktionsgemisch wird über Nacht auf Rückflußtemperatur erhitzt, worauf man es abkühlen läßt und zur Entfernung des ausgefallenen
Natriumchlorids filtriert. Anschließend wird das Filtrat eingedampft. Der dabei erhaltene Rückstand wird in
Ether aufgenommen, und die Etherlösung extrahiert man mehrmals mit 10-prozentiger Chlorwasserstoffsäure. Die vereinigten

wäßrigen Extrakte werden abgekühlt und mit wäßriger Natriumhydroxidlösung basisch gestellt, worauf man das basische Gemisch mit Ether extrahiert. Die Etherextrakte werden vereinigt
und über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Das Trocknungsmittel wird abfiltriert, worauf man das trockne Etherfiltrat
in einem Eisbad kühlt und mit wasserfreiem Chlorwasserstoff
sättigt. Der dabei anfallende Niederschlag wird abfiltriert
und aus einem Gemisch aus Ethanol und Wasser umkristallisiert. Auf diese Weise gelangt man zu einer bei etwa 170 bis 171 *C
schmelzenden Verbindung, die durch ihren pK -Wert sowie durch Elementaranalyse als 1-/3-(5-Chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)propyl/-2-methylpiperidin-hydrochlorid identifiziert wird.

Ein mit Glas ausgekleideter Autoklav wird mit 30 g (O,1 Mol)
2-(3-Chlor-2-methylpropoxy)-5-chlorbiphenyl, 10Og (2,2 Mol)
wasserfreiem Dimethylamin und 75 ml technischem absolutem Ethanol versetzt. Der Autoklav wird dann verschlossen und etwa
8 Stunden auf etwa 120 *C erhitzt. Nach anschließendem Abkühlen des Autoklaven öffnet man diesen und entfernt das
darin enthaltene Produktgemisch. Das Gemisch wird hierauf zur Entfernung von Lösungsmittel und überschüssigem Dimethylamin

destilliert, und den dabei anfallenden Rückstand löst man in etwa 500 ml verdünnter wäßriger Chlorwasserstoffsäure. Die
saure wäßrige Lösung wird mit Ether gewaschen, mit 50-prozentiger wäßriger Natriumhydroxidlösung alkalisch gestellt
und mit Ether extrahiert. Die Etherextrakte werden vereinigt und mit mehreren Portionen Wasser gewaschen. Sodann trocknet
man die Etherextrakte über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat, filtriert das Trocknungsmittel ab und entfernt das Lösungsmittel
unter Vakuum. Der dabei erhaltene Rückstand wird unter vermindertem Druck destilliert, wodurch man zu einem bei etwa
155 bis 165 0C unter einem Druck von 0,05 mm siedendem Material gelangt. Aus diesem Material stellt man dann das
Hydrobromidsalz her, das bei etwa 106 bis 109 0C schmilzt.
Es wird durch Elementaranalyse als 3-f5-Chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)-N,N,2-trimethylpropylamin-hydrobromid
identifiziert.

Ein Gemisch aus 5 g 2-(5-Brompentyloxy)-5-chlorbiphenyl und
5 g 1-Aminoadamantan erhitzt man in einem ölbad über Nacht
auf etwa 135 °C. Hierauf wird das Reaktionsgemisch in Ether und 20-prozentiger wäßriger Natriumhydroxidlösung aufgenommen.
Sodann extrahiert man das Gemisch mit Ether und extrahiert die vereinigten Etherextrakte anschließend mit 10-prozentiger

Chlorwasserstoffsäure. Die sich aus der Chlorwasserstoffsäurelösung
abscheidenden Kristalle werden abfiltriert und aus Ethanol umkristallisiert. Auf diese Weise gelangt man zu 2,5 g
eines farblosen Feststoffs, der bei etwa 235 bis 236 °C schmilzt. Der Feststoff wird durch Elementaranalyse und durch NMR-Spektroskopie
als N-Adamantyl-5-(5-chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)pentylaminhydrochlorid
identifiziert.

Nach den oben beschriebenen Verfahren lassen sich alle erfindungsgemäß
verwendeten Verbindursgen herstellen. Zahlreiche Einzelbeispiele für solche Verbindungen werden bei den später
folgenden Untersuchungen angegeben -
Das neue erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zur Bekämpfung von Wasserunkräutern
oder Algen wird durchgeführt, indem man die jeweiligen Chemikalien einfach zu Wasser gibt, das die Wasserunkräuter
oder Algen enthält. Die vorliegenden Verbindungen führen dabei zu einer Abtötung oder einer Hemmung des Wachstums
von Wasserunkräutern oder Algen, wenn man eine herbicid oder algicid wirksame Menge einer dieser Verbindungen mit
den Unkräutern oder Algen in Kontakt bringt. Einige Wasserunkräuter schwimmen in Wasser oder auf der Wasseroberfläche.
Andere Wasserunkräuter sind in der unter dem Wasser befindlichen Erde verwurzelt. Je nach der Art der in einem bestimmten
Wasser zu bekämpfenden Unkräuter kann es gegebenenfalls wünschenswert sein, den jeweiligen Wirkstoff in einer

Form einzusetzen, der im Wasser absinkt oder darin schwimmt.
Das vorliegende Verfahren wird vorzugsweise so durchgeführt, daß man das jeweils zu behandelnde Wasser mit einer solchen
Menge der jeweiligen Verbindung versetzt, daß sich eine Wirkstoffkonzentration von 0,5 bis 10 Teilen pro Million Gewichts
teile Wasser (0,00005 bis 0,001 %), und insbesondere von von O,5 bis 2 Teilen Wirkstoff pro Million Teile Wasser
(O,OOOO5 bis O,OOO2 %) ergibt.
Die optimale Konzentration für irgendein bestimmtes Bekämpf ungsproblem ist abhängig von der Temperatur, der zu bekämpfenden
Unkraut- oder Algenart und der Form des zu behandelnden Wasserkörpers. Bei höheren Wassertemperaturen braucht
man für einen bestimmten Bekämpfungsgrad im allgemeinen weniger Wirkstoff als bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Möchte man
beispielsweise in Flüssen die darin festgesetzte Flora zerstören, dann muß hierbei besonders dafür gesorgt werden, daß
die Chemikalien über die zu behandelnde Fläche gelangen, wobei darauf zu achten ist, daß die Konzentration während der
Kontaktzeit abhängig ist von der Strömungsgeschwindigkeit des Wassers, der Menge an zugesetztem Wirkstoff und der Zugabezeit.
Der Zusatz der Verbindungen zu Wasser erfolgt in Form der neuen erfindungsgemäßen herbiciden und algiciden Mittel. Diese
Mittel sind neu, da sie die vorliegenden Verbindungen enthalten, deren Eignung als Pestizide bisher unbekannt gewesen
ist. Die inerten Bestandteile derartiger Mittel ähneln anderen bei landwirtschaftlichen Formulierungen üblichen Mitteln.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel enthalten 0,1 bis 90 % Wirkstoff
und haben die Form von Granulaten, benetzbaren Pulvern, emul-

gierbaren Konzentraten oder Lösungen. Granulate werden angewandt, indem man sie über die Wasseroberfläche streut. Sie
lassen sich durch Einstellung ihrer Dichte so formulieren, daß sie entweder sinken oder auf dem Wasser schwimmen. Im
allgemeinen enthalten solche Granulate 0,1 bis 10 % Wirkstoff, der auf getrockneter Erde, Stein oder Sand adsorbiert oder
darin dispergiert ist. Als Erde zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen
Granulate eignet sich beispielsweise Diatomeenerde, Kaolin, Bentonit, Montmorillonit oder Attapulgit, und dieser
Bestandteil macht 90 bis 99,9 % des Mittels aus.
Entsprechende benetzbare Pulver, emulgierbare Konzentrate oder Lösungen eignen sich insbesondere dann, wenn das
wirkstoffhaltige Mittel schwimmen soll, sie lassen sich jedoch auch in so hoher Dichte herstellen, daß hierdurch der
Wirkstoff auf den Boden des Wassers sinkt. Die Anwendung derartiger Zubereitungen erfolgt im allgemeinen, indem man
das jeweilige Mittel in einer verhältnismäßig kleinen Wassermenge verteilt und die so erhaltene Dispersion dann über die
Wasserfläche sprüht. Die Wirkstoffkonzentration in der ersten Dispersion ist nicht wichtig.
Benetzbare Pulver bestehen aus einem innigen Gemisch aus dem Wirkstoff
in einem inerten Träger, bei dem es sich um ein Gemisch aus einem feinen inerten Pulver und einem oberflächenaktiven Mittel
handelt. Die Wirkstoffkonzentration liegt normalerweise bei etwa 10 bis 90 Gewichtsprozent. Als inerte Pulver eignen sich beispielsweise
Attapulgittone, Montmorillonittone, Diatomeenerden
oder gereinigte Silikate. Beispiele für wirksame oberflächenaktive Mittel, die im allgemeinen etwa 0,5 bis 10 % des benetzbaren
Pulvers ausmachen, sind die sulfonierten Lignine, die kondensierten Naphthalinsulfonate, die Naphthalinsulfonate,
die Alkylbenzolsulfonate, die Alkylsulfate sowie die nichtionischen oberflächenaktiven Mittel, wie Addukte aus Ethylenoxid
und Alkylphenol.

Typische emulgierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate enthalten eine
entsprechende Konzentration des jeweiligen Wirkstoffs, beispielsweise etwa 50 bis 500 g Wirkstoff pro Liter Flüssigkeit,
was einer Menge von etwa 5 bis 50 % entspricht, gelöst in einem inerten Träger, bei dem es sich um ein Gemisch
aus einem mit Wasser nicht mischbaren organischen Lösungsmittel und Emulgiermitteln handelt. Beispiele hierzu geeigneter
organischer Lösungsmittel sind die aromatischen Lösungsmittel, insbesondere die Xylole, sowie die Erdölfraktionen, insbesondere die hochsiedenden naphthalinischen und
olefinischen Anteile von Erdöl, wie schweres aromatisches Naphtha. Es können auch andere organische Lösungsmittel verwendet
werden, wie die terpenischen Lösungsmittel unter Einschluß von Harzderivaten und komplexe Alkohole, wie 2-Ethoxyethanol.
Als Emulgiermittel zur Herstellung emulgierbarer Konzentrate eignen sich beispielsweise die gleichen oberflächenaktiven
Mittel in den gleichen Konzentrationen wie sie auch zur Herstellung benetzbarer Pulver verwendet werden.
Wirkstofflösungen ähneln praktisch den emulgierbaren Konzentraten,
mit der Ausnahme, daß sie keine oberflächenaktive Mittel enthalten. In den meisten Fällen lassen sich entsprechende
Lösungen einfach in Wasser oder wäßrigen Alkoholen bilden, da die meisten der vorliegend verwendeten Verbindungen Salze
sind, die sich in Wasser gut lösen.

Die Wirksamkeit der vorliegenden herbiciden Mittel wird anhand folgender Versuche näher erläutert.
Versuch 1
Für die vorliegenden Untersuchungen werden als Pflanzen Bärenschwanz (Ceratophyllum demersum L.), Florida elodea
(Hydrilla verticillata (L.F.)) und Wasserhirse (Lemna minor L.)
verwendet. Man schneidet hierzu etwa 10 cm lange Ausläufer von Bärenschwanz und Florida elodea ab und verwendet soviel Wasserhirse,
daß gerade die Wasserfläche in einem 10 ml Becherglas (etwa 30 Pflanzen) bedeckt wird. Den Bärenschwanz, die Florida
elodea und die Wasserhirse gibt man dann in Bechergläser, die 750 ml Wirkstoffhaltiges chlorfreies Wasser enthalten.
Die für den vorliegenden Versuch verwendeten Verbindungen werden wie folgt formuliert. 17 mg Wirkstoff wiegt man in eine
12 ml fassende Wegwerfampulle ab. Die wirkstoffhaltige Ampulle
versetzt man anschließend mit 1 ml Aceton und dann mit 10 ml wäßrigem 0,1-prozentigem Polyoxyethylensorbitanmonooleat.
Diese Vorratslösung pipettiert man hierauf in Volumina von 0,45 und 4,55 ml in die Bechergläser, wodurch sich Wirkstoff
konzentrationen von 1 und 10 ppm in jeweils 750 ml ergeben. Entsprechende Kontrollbechergläser enthalten 750 ml Wasser
zusammen mit dem zur Herstellung der Formulierungen verwendeten Lösungsmittel. Durch ReihenVerdünnung der in obiger Weise
hergestellten Lösungen mit Konzentrationen von 1 und 10 ppm werden Lösungen mit anderen Wirkstoffkonzentrationen hergestellt.
Der Einfluß der vorliegenden Verbindungen auf die zu untersuchenden
Pflanzen wird über eine Zeitspanne von 7 Tagen untersucht. Die Wirksamkeit der Verbindungen als Wasserherbicide beurteilt
man nach der im folgenden angegebenen und von 1 bis 5 reichenden Bewertungsskala:

Versuch 2
Bei diesen Versuchen verwendet man insgesamt 6 Pflanzen, wobei wie im folgenden angegeben gearbeitet wird.
Vier der bei dem vorliegenden Versuch zu verwendenden Pflanzen, nämlich Florida elodea, Südliches Naiad, Eurasische Garbe und
Cabomba, bereitet man entsprechend vor, indem man jeweils etwa 10 cm lange Ausläufer abschneidet und das untere etwa 2,5 cm
lange Stück eines jeden Ausläufers in ein sterilisiertes Gemisch aus Sand und Tonlehmerde (50:50) einsetzt, das sich in
etwa 150 ml fassenden Trinkbechern aus Kunststoff befindet« Die auf diese Weise gebildeten pflanzenhaltigen Trinkbecher
gibt man dann zwei Wochen vor der eigentlichen Untersuchung in etwa 3,8 1 fassende Weithalskolben. Jeder Kolben wird bis
zur unteren Kante des Rands mit Wasser gefüllt, wobei das Wasservolumen dann etwa 3500 ml beträgt. Als Wasser verwendet man
von Chlor befreites Stadtwasser. Im Anschluß daran gibt man auf das in jedem Kolben befindliche Wasser ein etwa 10 cm
langes Stück Bärenschwanz (Ceratophyllum demersum) und etwa 60 Wasserhirsepflanzen (Lemna minor L.). Damit die Pflanzen
gut wachsen, versetzt man das in jedem Kolben befindliche Wasser zusätzlich auch noch mit drei Tropfen eines Gemisches
aus 5 ml gelatierter Eisenlösung, 15 ml Wasser und 15 ml handelsüblichem flüssigem Düngemittel.
Es wird mit folgenden Pflanzen gearbeitet:
Florida elodea, Hydrilla verticillata (L.F.) Bärenschwanζ, Ceratophyllum demersum (L.)
Wasserhirse, Lemna minor L.
Südliches Naiad, Najas quadalupensis (Spreng.) Eurasische Garbe, Myriophyllum specatum L.
Cambomba, Cambomba caroliniana, Gray

Nach zwei Wochen wählt man diejenigen Kolben, die gesunde vorkonditxonierte Pflanzen enthalten, für die jeweiligen
Untersuchungen aus.
Die Formulierung der zu untersuchenden Verbindungen wird wie folgt durchgeführt. Man wiegt 27 mg der jeweils zu untersuchenden
Verbindung in eine 12 ml fassende Wegwerfampulle ein. Die wirkstoffhaltige Ampulle versetzt man dann zuerst mit
1 ml Aceton und anschließend mit 10 ml wäßrigem 0,1-prozentigem Polyoxyethylensorbitanmonooleat. Diese Grundlösung
pipettiert man dann in Volumina von 7,5, 3, 1,5 und O,75 ml in die Weithalskolben, wodurch sich Wirkstoffkonzentrationen
von 5, 2, 1 und 0,5 ppm in etwa 3500 ml Wasser ergeben. Es wird jeweils mit zwei gleichen Wirkstoffkonzentrationen gearbeitet, was heißt, daß jeder Versuch zweimal durchgeführt
wird. Ferner wird auch mit entsprechenden Kontrollen gearbeitet, die keiner» Wirkstoff enthalten.
Die herbicide Wirkung wird über eine Zeitspanne von wenigstens drei Wochen jede Woche beurteilt. Diese Beurteilung wird nach
einer von 1 bis 5 reichenden Bewertungskala durchgeführt, wie sie bereits bei obigem Versuch 1 beschrieben worden ist.
Die bei der dritten Versuchswoche erhaltenen Daten für die herbicide Wirkung gehen aus der folgenden Tabelle II hervor.

Versuch 3
Typische Verbindungen werden ferner auch bezüglich ihrer Wirkung auf Algen untersucht, Wobei das hierzu angewandte
Verfahren im allgemeinen den obigen Versuchen zur Ermittlung der herbiciden Wirkung entspricht. Hierbei werden die Verbindungen
gegenüber typischen Grünalgen, Blaualgen und Rotalgen der Arten Chlorella, Scenedesmus und Anacystis untersucht.
Die dabei erhaltenen Ergebnisse gehen aus der folgenden Tabelle III hervor.

1. Herbicides und algicides Mittel aus einem inerten Träger und 0,1 bis 9O % Wirkstoff, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß es als Wirkstoff ein Phenoxy-(Phenylthxo)
alkylamin der Formel I

enthält.
7. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als
Wirkstoff 3-(S-Chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)-N-ethy1-1-methylpropy1-amin-hydrochlorid
enthäIt.
8. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als
Wirkstoff N-(tert.-Butyl)-3-(5-chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)propylamin-hydrochlorid
enthält.

9. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als Wirkstoff 3-(5-Chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)-N-isopropylpropylaminhydrochlorid
enthält.
10. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als
Wirkstoff 4- (5-Chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)-N-cyclohexylbutylamin-hydrochlorid
enthält.
11. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
das es in Form eines emulgierbaren Konzentrats vorliegt.
12. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß seine
Wirkstoffkonzentration 5 bis 50 % beträgt.
13. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet
daß es in Form eines benetzbaren Pulvers vorliegt.
14. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß seine
Wirkstoffkonzentration 10 bis 90 % beträgt.
15. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß es in Form einer Lösung vorliegt.

16. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 15,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß seine Wirkstoffkonzentration 5 bis 50 % beträgt.
17. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß es in Form eines Granulats vorliegt.
18. Herbicides und algicides Mittel nach Anspruch 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß seine
Wirkstoffkonzentration 0,1 bis 10 % beträgt.
19. Verwendung eines herbiciden und algiciden Mittels nach Anspruch 1 zur Herabsetzung der Lebenskraft von Wasserunkräutern oder Algen in Wasser, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß man diese Unkräuter oder
Algen mit einer herbicid oder algicid wirksamen Menge eines Mittels zusammenbringt, das eine Verbindung der Formel I

für eine Wirkstoffkonzentration von 0,5 bis 10 ppm sorgt.
25. Verwendung nach Anspruch 24, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß das Mittel im Wasser für eine
Wirkstoffkonzentration von 0,5 bis 2 ppm sorgt.
26. Verwendung nach Anspruch 19 bis 22, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß das Mittel im Wasser für
eine Wirkstoffkonzentration von 0,5 bis 10 ppm sorgt.
27. Verwendung nach Anspruch 26, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß das Mittel im Wasser für eine
Wirkstoffkonzentration von 0,5 bis 2 ppm sorgt.
28. Verwendung von 3-(5-Chlor-2-biphenylyloxy)-N-ethyl-1-methylpropylamin-hydrochlorid
