Description
- Lic htsdhutzmittel Im Hauptpatent 954 9II sind Lichtschutzmittel beschrieben, welche 4'-Aminobenzoyl-4-aminobenzoesäure bzw. deren Acylderivate oder Salze von diesen Verbindungen enthalten.
- Es wurde nun weiterhin gefunden, daß auch die Ester der 4'-Aminobenzoyl-4-aminobenzoesäure mit niederen aliphatischen Alkoholen Licht des erythemerzeugenden Spektralgebiets in hohem Maße absorbieren und sich daher ebenfalls zur Verwendung als Lichtschutzmittel eignen. Diese Verbindungen verfärben sich unter der Einwirkung des Lichtes nicht, sind also sehr beständig und in fetten und ätherischen Ölen mehr oder weniger leicht löslich.
- Die neuen Ester werden nach den üblichen Verfahren zur Veresterung von Säuren mit Alkoholen hergestellt. Beispielsweise zeigt der 4'-Aminobenzoyl-4-aminobenzoesäure-n-amylester besonders gute Löslichkeit in fetten Ölen wie Olivenöl oder Sesamöl und in flüssigen Wachsalkoholen. Er ist daher zur Anwendung in lichtschützenden Fettkremen oder Hautölen, die wegen ihrer guten Verträglichkeit und hautpflegenden Eigenschaften in der Kosmetik vorzugsweise verwendet werden, bestens geeignet. Sein Lichtabsorptionsmaximum liegt bei einer Wellenlänge von 293 mµ, sein Schmelzpunkt bei I45 bis I47°.
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH: Abänderung der Lichtschutzmittel vom Hauptpatent 9549II, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie an Stelle der 4'-Aminobenzoyl-4-aminobenzoesäure bzw. von derenAcylderivaten deren Ester mit niederen aliphatischen Alkoholen enthalten.
