Abstract

La invención se refiere a un material transformador de luz, en particular para paredes de invernaderos, que comprende como aditivo un silicato de bario y magnesio de la fórmula Ba3(1-x)Eu3xMg1-yMnySi2O8 (1) en donde 0<x = 0,3 y 0 < y = 0,3. Ese material es capaz de transformar la energía solar de rango UV en luz roja. Ese material puede también ser usado en pinturas y cosméticos.
