Abstract
L'invention concerne un matériau transformant la lumière, notamment pour parois de serres, comprenant à titre d'additif un silicate de baryum et de magnésium de formule: Ba3(l-x)Eu3xMgl-yMnySi2O8 (l)dans laquelle 0 < x < ou = 0,3 et 0 < y < ou = 0,3. Ce matériau est capable de transformer l'énergie solaire de la gamme des UV en une lumière rouge. Ce matériau peut aussi être utilisé dans les domaines des peintures et de la cosmétique.
