Abstract

La invención se refiere a formas de administración farmacéuticas semisólidas o líquidas para uso transdérmico que contiene una sustancia activa sensible a la luz UV y por lo menos una sustancia auxiliar (absorbedor de luz UV) que se encuentra presente en la forma de administración en forma disuelta o dispersa. Preferentemente, la forma de administración de la invención es un gel transdérmico, cuya base está formada por agua, alcohol, por lo menos un polímero formador de gel y si fuera necesario, otros componentes. Tales geles también se denominan geles hidroalcohólicos. La invención provee una forma de administración que comprende una sustancia activa farmacéutica sensible a la luz, cuyo sistema de aplicación tiene elevada estabilidad y no presenta las desventajas conocidas que se presentan cuando se aplican formas de administración transdérmicas semisólidas convencionales. En esta forma de administración se minimizan los efectos secundarios dañinos, como p.ej. la absorción de sustancias protectoras de la luz por el cuerpo, que pueden resultar potencialmente de medidas intencionales de protección de la luz.
