Abstract

La invención se relaciona a un cátodo para procesos electrolíticos, apto para la evolución de hidrógeno en un proceso de electrólisis cloro-álcali, constituido por un substrato metálico provisto de un revestimiento catalítico hecho de dos capas que contienen paladio, tierras raras (tales como el praseodimio) y un componente noble seleccionado entre platino y rutenio. El contenido porcentual de tierras raras es inferior en la capa externa que en la interna.
