  • the electrode is slidably mounted in the torch body and more precisely the electrode is screwed into a thread of the torch body, so that the approach of the electrode towards the nozzle and the removal of the electrode, which causes the creation of the arc, is carried out by operating a knurled button, which has the drawback of being very slow and creating damage on the nozzle, due to maintenance for a fairly long period of time of an arc which can only be transferred to the work immediately after complete removal of the electrode.
