Definitions

  • the invention relates to a camouflaged hangar, safe against shelling and against indirect, in particular direct bomb and explosion, as a shelter for individual military aircraft, especially interceptors, for immediate operational readiness and starting possibility from this shelter after an attack on the airport, in which the shelter is hydraulic , in particular of four laterally arranged hydraulic cylinders, can be lowered into the ground, the roof of which, when lowered, is approximately level with the surrounding ground.
  • the invention has set itself the task of addressing the disadvantages mentioned.
  • the invention is characterized in that the hangar has several, in particular two, independently movable shelters, which are arranged around an underground crew and / or machine room and / or maintenance room (6) separated by doors and located below the lowered parking space, whereby the roof (2) of each shelter is only connected laterally to the parking space (1) of the shelter, so that when it is extended, the parking space (1), which is then level with the floor of the airport, is accessible by plane from both the front and the rear.
  • Essential design features are specified in the subclaims.
  • a major advantage of the invention is also seen in the fact that, in addition to the protective function of the hangar, there is also immediate operational readiness and starting possibility even after an attack on the airport, in that it is not necessary for the machines to be pulled out of or into the protective space by towing vehicles are feasible.
  • a certain simplification results from the elimination of the hangar doors.
  • Another significant advantage is seen in the fact that the invention makes it easier to classify the airport in nature, so that it is located less easily from above and the shelter itself can be camouflaged. Because the shelters are underground, they can also be overrun, which also results in a reduction in the size of the necessary airfield and a natural camouflage.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 show schematically and for example in the attached drawing in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • Figure 1 shows a parking space at floor level in elevation
  • Figure 2 shows the same embodiment in the lowered state.
  • the parking space in Figures 1 and 2 is box-shaped and is accessible from two sides in the extended state, so that the aircraft (4) from the parking space (1) can start under its own power or can be brought under one roof.
  • This advantage is essential for the readiness to take off, since no towing vehicles are required to pull the aircraft to be taken out of the hangar.
  • hydraulic cylinders (5) On the two long sides of the parking space, hydraulic cylinders (5), in particular two on each side, are arranged, with which the parking space (1) can be lowered so far that the roof (2) is flush with the floor (3) of the surroundings.
  • the parking space is free and can be overrun, for example.
  • the roof can of course be greened or built on, for example provided with a taxiway covering, so that it is completely camouflaged and cannot be recognized as a parking space by incoming aircraft.
  • team rooms (6) can be provided, in which the crews can spend the waiting time for the aircraft on their own parking space or for neighboring parking spaces. Maintenance rooms can also be connected.
  • a paired arrangement or cloverleaf arrangement of the individual parking spaces is advantageous, the individual rooms being partitioned off by doors.
  • This has the effect that direct hits are limited in their effect on the space hit.
  • equipping such lowerable parking spaces with hydraulic devices allows the aircraft to be moved very quickly from the underground level to the ground level, it being possible for initial checks to be carried out on the aircraft during the vertical movement.
  • the individual hydraulic units for actuating the lifting device can be designed in such a way that either an accelerated drive takes place or that even if one unit fails, another unit may take over the operation of the individual platforms in succession .
  • a major advantage of the invention is seen in the radiation safety in the lowered state of the parking space, so that the operational readiness of air defense is maintained after an atomic accident or first strike.
