Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a snow holder according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a snow guard device is known on a sloping roof covered with roof tiles.
  • this snow guard is not suitable for any roof tile thickness and shape.
  • this snow guard must be made of relatively very thick material in order to absorb the large snow loads. This will raise the brick above.
  • a snow guard device according to the above-mentioned document which must be made of relatively thick material, cannot be placed over a brick provided with a profile, since the snow guard device does not spring enough.
  • a snow holding device for roofs covered with asbestos cement slabs is previously known from EP-A-0 052 080.
  • This snow holding device is not suitable for clay bricks and concrete bricks of various thicknesses.
  • the bracket 19 can not be adjusted relative to the retaining part 6, in particular can not be adjusted lockable.
  • the bracket 19 is not intended for gripping the lower end of a roof tile.
  • a storm clamp is known from NL-C-25 592, which has the purpose of preventing tiles from being lifted off the roof. This storm clamp cannot be used to attach snow holders for any roof tile thickness and shape to the roof.
  • a snow holder for roofs is already known from CH-574 026, but is not suitable for use with any roof tile thickness and shape.
  • snow holders are each mounted on the upper end of the roof tile. This means that flood water can get between two bricks and thus into the roof.
  • An advantage of the snow holder according to the invention lies in the fact that it is mounted on the lower end of a roof tile, as a result of which it is avoided that flood water can penetrate.
  • snow holders When using sliding bricks, previous ones had to Snow holders can be made shorter or longer because they were hung on the upper end of the tile.
  • the snow holder according to the invention can be used in sliding bricks in any position thereof.
  • snow holders had the disadvantage that they tipped over when they were stepped on, lifted off the brick, slipped off the brick, and there was a risk of an accident.
  • the snow holder according to the invention ensures a secure hold when walking on the roof.
  • a further advantage of the snow holder according to the invention is that the snow load is distributed better than in known snow holders, the snow load being largely directly above a crossbar. This increases the lifespan of the roof tiles.
  • An additional advantage of the snow holder according to the invention is the small contact area of the same on the roof tiles, as a result of which the brick can dry out better and faster after rain or snow, so that, in contrast to the known snow holders, the engobing and the clay mass of the brick cannot decompose and thereby the brick becomes permeable to water.
  • the snow holder 100 comprises an integrally formed plastic part 102 and a holding bracket 103 made of metal which can be moved and locked therein.
  • the plastic part 102 has a shoulder 104, which rests on top of a clay brick 105.
  • the metal bracket 103 encompasses a shoulder 106 at the end of the shoulder 107 at the lower end of the clay tile 105.
  • the clay tile 108 located below and a roof beam 109 can also be seen from FIG. 1.
  • the plastic part 102 of the snow holder 100 has a snow retention part 110 resting on the upper brick 105 and a support part 111 resting on the lower brick 108.
  • a nose 112 is flexibly connected to the snow retention part 110.
  • the nose 112 protrudes somewhat obliquely downwards, the distance a preferably being approximately 2 mm.
  • the plastic part 102 has a shoulder 113 when using concrete bricks.
  • a guide channel 114 is provided within the part 102 for receiving the vertical part 115 of the bracket 103.
  • the bracket 103 lies with its horizontal part 116 on the lower clay brick 108.
  • a grid plate 117 with grid teeth 118 is arranged in the region of the guide part 114.
  • a vertical strut 119 is provided.
  • a nose 121 is bent in the upper region 120 of the vertical part 115 of the bracket 103, a metal spring 122 being placed around the upper region 120 of the bracket 103 and the underside of the nose 121.
  • the shoulder 104 is placed with the nose 112 on the surface of the brick 105, the bracket 103 is pushed into the guide channel until the horizontal part 116 of the bracket 103 rests below the shoulder 107 of the brick, in which case the plastic part 102 of the snow holder 100 and the bracket 103 can still be pressed together somewhat as a result of the flexible nose 112 until the spring 122 engages between two raster teeth 118.
  • the resilient arrangement of the nose 112 acts as a distance compensation.
  • the bracket 103 can then no longer from the guide channel 114 or. the plastic part 102, since the nose 121 in the upper region 120 of the vertical part 115 of the bracket 103 prevents the spring 122 from being able to bend upwards.
  • the distance b between the nose 121 and the raster teeth 118 is preferably approximately 1 to 1.5 mm.
  • the shoulder 104 of the part 102 of the snow holder 100, the horizontal part 116 and the shoulder 106 of the metal bracket 103 encompass the end of the brick 105 in the form of pliers.
  • the snow on the nose 112 additionally presses the snow holder onto the brick 105.
  • FIG. 2 shows a view from below of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1.
  • a longitudinal reinforcement rib 123 can also be seen.
  • the guide channel 114 for the bracket 103 comprises on the side parts 124 and 125 of the plastic part 102 adjacent vertical guide parts 126, 127, 128 and 129, which via webs 130, 131, 132 and 133 with the vertical strut 119 and. are connected to the grid plate 117.
  • FIG 3 is a perspective view of the bracket 103 can be seen.
  • a rectangular opening 134 is recessed, the nose 121 being bent at the upper end thereof.
  • the nose 121 preferably forms an angle of approximately 80 ° with the vertical part 115 of the holding bracket 103.
  • the spring 122 is shown in perspective, which is placed around an upper region 120 of the vertical part 115 of the holding bracket 103 and around the underside of the nose 121.
  • the part of the spring 122 placed around the upper region 120 of the bracket 103 comprises a vertical part 135, a bent part 136 and a bent part 137.
  • An angled part 138 adjoins the vertical part 135 and bears against the underside of the nose 121 .
  • FIG. 5 shows a side view, partly in section, of a second exemplary embodiment of a snow holder 140.
  • This exemplary embodiment likewise comprises an integrated plastic part 141 and a holding bracket 103.
  • the holding bracket 103 also has a vertical part 115, a horizontal part 116 and an extension 106 bent from the horizontal part 116.
  • the use of the snow holder is shown for a concrete tile 142, in which case the shoulder 113 of the plastic part 141, the horizontal part 116 and the shoulder 106 of the holding bracket 103 encompass the lower end 146 of the concrete tile as seen from the roof.
  • the plastic part 141 likewise comprises a grid plate 117 with grid teeth 118.
  • the guide channel 143 for the holding bracket 103 has a first guide plate 144 running parallel to the grid plate 117 and a second guide plate 145 running obliquely thereto.
  • the upper region 120 and the nose 121 of the vertical part 115 of the holding bracket 103 are not provided with a spring in this embodiment.
  • the bracket is inserted obliquely into the guide channel 143 by abutting the guide plate 145, whereby it is pushed upwards until the shoulder 113 of the plastic part 141 and the horizontal part 116 of the bracket 103 embrace the end 146 of the brick 142 in the form of pliers , and then tilted and, if necessary, pushed upwards until the nose 121 engages between two raster teeth 118.
  • the guide plate 145 As in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS.
  • FIGS. 1 to 5 have the advantage that they can be used for any roof tile thickness and shape.
  • the snow holder according to the invention can, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 5, both for clay bricks which have a greater thickness but a somewhat narrower heel 107 at the end, and for concrete bricks which have a smaller thickness but a somewhat wider heel 146 have at the end, are used. This is achieved in that two stepped shoulders 104 and 113 are then provided on the snow retaining part 110.
  • the arms forming a pair of pliers are pressed together and held firmly on the brick.
  • the snow retention part is arranged in the region of the support part.
