Definitions
- the invention relates to a large-area parasol Shielding according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a hand screen is known from FR-A-468.886 two-part support rods when folding the screen due of the features of the preamble of claim 1 Sliding one over the other can be shortened.
- the invention has for its object a parasol of the type mentioned to find an enlargement of their Shielding surface allows that in the folded state is particularly compact and can be opened easily without that there is a disability due to surrounding facilities given is.
- a device of this type is to be found be due to their basic design principle numerous new embodiments and possible applications opened, the optimal, the local Conditions and use adapted to solar radiation enable.
- a parasol is the basis for solving this task with the features of claim 1.
- the surface elements preferably consist from pleated surface material, so that the Pleats of surface elements arranged one above the other interlock when folding.
- The is given a particularly aesthetic, closed form compact unit of the parasol in a preferred embodiment of the invention by enveloping surfaces on the in this Position outer rod elements are provided.
- the compact, closed shape of the parasol can go further can be improved if they are designed as a garden umbrella the mast can be shortened until the ends of the At least support rods folded parallel to the mast approximated to the floor or a base of the parasol reach up.
- the support rods 1, of which eight are present, for example are, with the device spread out from a central head part 2, e.g. slightly inclined, radial to the outside and are with this through a uniaxial Joint connected so that it becomes a compact unit, e.g. corresponding to Fig. 18,19,21, at least approximately parallel are pivotable towards each other downwards.
- the eight support rods 1 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1,2 or according to Fig. 26 and 28 each have a spread Condition of the parasol radially inner and outer rod element 4,5, which are slidably guided together by they according to the sectional view in Figure 3 or in Fig. 36 consist of interlocking profile bars.
- the mutual engagement takes place, for example, in the form of a T-section, with a comprehensive T-shaped hollow section and a T-shaped engagement part 6,6 '.
- the top or outer pair 7,8 of the receiving channels of the inner Bar element 4 serves to accommodate the bead-shaped Edge 13 (Fig. 15) of rigid shell elements 14, 15, e.g. made of aluminum, which, together with the others, each between two supporting rods 1 held shell elements 14, 15 form a closed envelope, which the screen in closed State according to the representations of Fig. 18 and 19 disguised and after opening the screen with a distance of each other lie on this.
- This shows the supervision on a device according to Fig.16 and in particular the associated Cross-sectional view of Fig.17.
- Shell elements instead of in recording channels can be easily pivoted Shell elements also wing-like on both sides of the respective Rod element 4 can be rigidly formed, as is the cross-sectional representation 30 shows.
- the remaining receiving channels 9 to 12 of the embodiment according to Fig. 15 are used to hold and hold an edge 16 individual, triangular or trapezoidal flexible Surface elements 17, 18, e.g. in the manner of a piping intervention, like it is for fixing the edges of awning surfaces is common.
- the support rods 21 are articulated with the radially outward sliding rod elements 5 connected, so that when maximum size stretched parasol through the far a stable support projecting outwards results. So that the support rods 21 and accordingly the mast 3rd do not have to be carried out accordingly long and yourself Statically favorable angular positions also at the beginning of the spreading of the support rods 21, these are, for example of two connected to each other via a joint 22 Support rod elements 23.24.
- the on the lower sliding body 25 articulated inner support rod elements 23 are each by an auxiliary support rod engaging between its ends 26 additionally held by this on a second upper sliding body 27 guided on the mast 3 is articulated.
- Fig. 2 illustrates a position of the support bar elements 23.24 when the umbrella is in a smaller spread position (Fig.6), in which the screen, for example, a Has a diameter of 3 m.
- Fig.6 a smaller spread position
- the screen for example, a Has a diameter of 3 m.
- the embodiment of Figures 10 and 11 differs from the previously described essentially by a three-part design of the support rods 1 'by between lower rod element 5 'connected to the support rod 21' and the upper rod element articulated on the head part 2 ' 4 ', a third rod element 30 engages with it in sliding engagement located.
- the cross-sectional view according to Fig.11 shows that this sliding intervention according to the principle of the embodiment 3 can be designed.
- the thus guided between two rod elements 4 'and 5' middle bar elements 30 can be together with the attached surface elements 31 of that shown in Fig.10 move the inner position outwards.
- Your surface elements 31 are thus in the inner position shown covered by those of the inner rod elements 4 ', and in the extended position cover the surface elements 31 those of the bar elements 5 '. Between the two positions intermediate positions are infinitely adjustable. The different overlapping positions, also for circumferentially surface elements adjacent to the device can thus be carried out differently one adapted to the local conditions or the position of the sun improved shielding from solar radiation. The air layer between the superimposed surface elements 17.31 and 18.31 contributes to good thermal insulation at.
- the bar elements 4 'and 5' guided middle bar elements 30 with the bar elements 5 ' releasably locked, with which the support rods 21 'connected are. Consequently, these rod elements 30 can optionally with the surface elements attached to them when complete Opening the device together with the rod elements 5 ' are pushed outwards by the support rods 21 ', e.g. to ensure that it is rainproof even in the outer circumferential area of the parasol To achieve shielding.
- the overlap of the surface elements assigned to the rod elements 5 'and 30 avoided in the outer circumferential area of the parasol is to be the interlock between the Bar elements 5 'and 30 when the device is incompletely open to solve. Instead, it can be placed between the bar elements 4 'and 30 are produced.
- the lock can be done in the simplest way using a pressure screw or e.g. by clamping levers, such as those for the mutual locking of the leg elements of tripods are common.
- the possible mutual overlap of the surface elements also advantageously allows the optional use of Filtering textile or foil materials, to allow a more gentle skin tanning. For a stronger shielding is then achieved by partially pushing them together of the screen these more permeable surface elements 17, 18 by another surface element 31 from above or covered below.
- these are preferably made of pleated Awning fabric or a comparable material that in relaxed state when the parasol is folded the cross-sectional representations of Figures 4 and 33 assumes a pointed, zigzag cross-sectional shape.
- 33.34 connected with spring balancers Tension cords 35, 36 between the support rods 1 'in the circumferential direction of the parasol. These balances run, for example along the support rods 1 ', and thus along the Side edges of the surface elements 17, 18, 31, so that in the Corner areas deflection points 38 are to be provided.
- the connection with the surface elements 17, 18, 31 is carried out of the tension cords 35, 36 through holes or Slits in their folding areas 39.
- Fig.7 show to 9.
- the embodiments of Fig.7 up to 9 can be made on the supporting linkage without significant changes of the screen by at least one certain peripheral area of the screen only outer Surface elements 40, 41; 40 ', 41'; 40 '', 41 '' between outer Rod elements 5 have a different cut shape and a Outer rod element 5 shortened or lengthened becomes.
- Fig. 26 and 27 show an embodiment of the parasol in which, in contrast to those of FIGS. 1, 2 and 10, the Support rods 50 are in one piece.
- the joint 51 for the support rod 50 either according to Fig.26 on the provided to the outside displaceable rod element 5 or 27 on a relatively short sliding element 53, performed on the support rod 1 or on a rod element 4 or 5 is.
- the support rods 1 through the support rods 50 first pivoted upwards. Then the upper sliding body 27 stopped at a stop 54 attached to the mast 3.
- Fig. 28 shows an embodiment with the kinematic system according to Fig. 1,2, whereby two more by dash and dash-dotted lines Spread positions of the support rod elements 23,24 shown are.
- a tension spring 52 attached between the head ends of the rod elements 4.5 is.
- a rotary drive 55 is present, which is not shown Electric motor or an elongated hand crank 56 has.
- the rotary drive 55 has a screw 57, which engages in a worm wheel 58.
- the latter drives either the role of an attached in the upper part of the mast 3 cable 59 or a gear that with a gear rack extending along the mast 3 stands.
- a rotary drive 62 is provided, e.g. with a drive screw 63 and a worm wheel 64.
- the latter drives a lifting spindle 65, which has a spindle nut 66 is engaged so that this together with the attached to it the upper mast part 67 carrying shaft 68 up and is movable downwards.
- the device can thus be slightly spread out, although the outside moving support rods 1 a stay nearby of the mast 3 would prevent.
- a garden umbrella with a minimum span of e.g. 4 m corresponding to Fig. 22 and with a maximum span of e.g. 8 m according to Fig. 23 can thus be used when not in use to a columnar, compact structure of the type of reduce the first position of Fig. 21, the height of which is only approx. Is 2 m.
- Such a relatively short columnar structure, by the outer, the surface elements 17, 18 enclosing flaps 14, 15 a closed, aesthetic has an attractive shape, fits well in a garden or the like, while a folded garden umbrella already known design with a comparable span already due to its height of 4 m, plus its free lower mast length, mostly not accepted for this can.
- FIG. 11 and 29 illustrate that because of the stacked arrangement the rod elements 4, 5 in the circumferential direction of the device neighboring, triangular and trapezoidal surface elements 17.18 not like a common umbrella Fabric can be sewn together, but that their individual, lateral attachment to the bar elements 4.5 is required.
- A is suitable for this Fastening according to the piping principle shown in Fig. 15.
- this has the disadvantage that the edge 16 of the surface elements 17.18 in its longitudinal direction in the receiving groove 9.10 must be confiscated so that it passes over its Length is not secured against shifting and consequently one Warp of the surface elements only in the area of its fastened Can prevent ends.
- Also has a sewn in Keder the disadvantage that there are concentrations of force at the seams result in the permanent stress to solve the Seam or damage to the surface element 17, 18 can result.
- a wedge-shaped space 74 is present, which at least double edge of the surface element 17,18 includes.
- the undercut has 75,76 on its receiving channel 72 limited at both ends of the cross section greatest width, which is sufficiently larger than the width of the strip-shaped blocking element 71 in order to be tilted Position an insertion of the blocking element 71 in the channel to enable transverse to its longitudinal direction. So this is Width at least by the measure of one of the undercuts 76 plus the thickness of the surface element 17.18 larger than the largest width of the blocking element 71, as the Illustration of Fig. 31 can be seen.
- This excess the width of the receiving channel 72 compared to the width of the blocking element 71 can, however, also be smaller.
- the blocking element 71 is from the channel end to insert. An existing clear excess enables easy insertion without the need for example previously inserted edge 70 of the surface element in its longitudinal direction can be shifted.
- a pushing in of the strip-shaped blocking element 71 transversely to the longitudinal direction of the channel 72 can, however, also be made possible by resiliently deforming its cross section.
- the resilient deformability of the cross section can by at least there is a cross-sectional curvature 78.
- the surface element is 17, 18 over the larger curvature 78 led, while the lower, oppositely directed Curvature 79 is used for support, and the inclusion of e.g. two folds 80, 81 having edge 70.
- the opposite directed curvatures 78.79 of the cross section of the blocking element cause the diagonally upwards and towards the 4.5 element executed course of the middle Cross-sectional part 83, so that with the channel wall 73 the wedge-shaped Room 74 is formed.
- Fig. 35 shows a further embodiment of the embodiment 32 by the support rods 50 'also via a joint 51 with an outwardly displaceable rod element 5 '' the support rods 1 are connected.
- the support rods 50 ' by the spreading movement the screen can be extended telescopically.
- this telescopic support rod extension serves the scissor-like spreading movement between the Auxiliary rod 26 and the support rod 50 'during the upward movement of the lower sliding body 25 and the upper one Sliding body 27 takes place on the stop 54.
- a wire rope 90 or tape with one end 91 at a distance attached by the hinge 92 to the auxiliary rod 26 and with for example the same distance from this joint 92 one on the support rod 50 'or on its lower support rod element 95 attached first roller 93 guided.
- the continuation of the wire rope 90 takes place via one, second, on the outside or upper end 96 of the lower support member 95 attached roller 97 and after deflection by 180 ° to one Attachment point 98 at the inner or lower end 99 of a upper support member 100.
- the upper support member 100 has a smaller cross section than the lower support rod element 95, making it telescopic in the latter is. It can be at the attachment point 98 for the other End 101 of the rope 90 a sliding and spacer 102 on Support rod element 100 and attached to the inner wall of the other support rod element 95 a second sliding and spacer be provided in which the wire rope 90 is guided is. In this way, the wire rope 90 can be between the profile walls of both rod elements 95, 100.
- the first roller 93 moves increasingly from the fastening point of the rope end 91 on the auxiliary rod 26 away, so that the resulting pull on the wire rope 90 leads to that the upper support rod element 100 telescopically from the lower support rod element is pulled out.
- Corresponding extends the support rod 50 'so that the displaceable Rod elements 5 '' of the support rods 1 to enlarge the Screen are pushed far out.
- Tension springs 103 facilitates the lower end 99 of the upper support rod elements 100 with a lower one Place e.g. on the joint 92 of the lower support rod element 95 connect. These tension springs 103 thus act on the train of the Wire rope 90 or the extension of the support rods 50 ' opposite.
- the support rods can be spread by a pull rope system the device spreading apart Elements of the device or areas of the device can be exploited, e.g. also the upward movement of the lower sliding body 25 relative to one arranged below Place of the guide element 3.
- the screen kinematics described with reference to FIGS. 35 and 36 can also be used advantageously for a screen that as shown in Fig. 27, i.e. without extensibility the support rods 1 is executed.
