Claims (12)
- Procédé de fabrication d'un produit en alliage d'aluminium durcissable par vieillissement, ledit produit étant un produit plat ayant une longueur, une largeur et une épaisseur, lequel procédé comprend les étapes consistant :caractérisé par le fait que l'étape (a) consistant à soumettre ledit produit à un étirage mécanique de détensionnement à froid dans le sens de la longueur, est suivie par l'étape (b) consistant à soumettre ledit produit à une compression de détensionnement à froid dans le sens de l'épaisseur.(i) à couler ledit alliage durcissable par vieillissement,(ii) à mettre en forme ledit alliage coulé de manière à obtenir un produit formé,(iii) à traiter ledit produit formé dans une solution à chaud,(iv) à tremper le produit ayant subi le traitement dans une solution à chaud,(v) à détensionner ledit produit trempé par application d'une déformation plastique permantente à froid en soumettant ledit produit à un étirage mécanique détensionnant à froid dans le sens de la longueur,
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel lesdites étapes (a) et (b) sont effectuées avant que le durcissement par vieillissement ait eu lieu à la suite de la trempe.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 2, dans lequel la déformation permanente dans ladite étape (a), définie comme l'allongement permanent dans le sens de l'étirage, n'est pas supérieure à 15 %.
- Procédé selon la revendication 3, dans lequel ladite déformation permenante dans l'étape (a) est comprise dans l'intervalle allant de 0,3 à 5 %.
- Procédé selon la revendication 4, dans lequel ladite déformation permanente dans l'étape (a) est comprise dans l'intervalle allant de 0,5 à 3 %.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans lequel la déformation permanente dans ladite étape (b), définie comme la réduction permanente dans le sens de la compression, est comprise dans l'intervalle allant de 0,2 à 5 %.
- Procédé selon la revendication 6, dans lequel ladite déformation permanente dans l'étape (b) est comprise dans l'intervalle allant de 0,5 à 3 %.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, dans lequel, dans l'étape (b), ladite compression à froid est appliquée au moyen d'un outil de forgeage dans des étapes se recouvrant.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, dans lequel le produit est une plaque épaisse ayant une épaisseur finale d'au moins 2 pouces (5 cm).
- Procédé selon la revendication 9, dans lequel ladite épaisseur finale est d'au moins 4 pouces (10 cm).
- Procédé selon la revendication 10, dans lequel ladite épaisseur finale est d'au moins 6 pouces (15 cm).
- Procédé selon la revendication 10, dans lequel l'alliage d'aluminium dudit produit appartient à l'une des séries AA 2XXX, AA 6XXX et AA 7XXX.
