Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roof covering for cleaning and keeping clean building roofs, in particular of vegetal vegetation or environmental dirt, consisting of a moisture-reacting metal, wherein the roof covering is made of plate-shaped material by punching and / or bending and has a structured reaction surface ,
  • the roof covering is made of plate-shaped material by means of punching and bending.
  • the desired curvature can be formed at the same time as the stamping process, so that a visually appealing design results compared with a simple copper sheet and, in particular, the reaction surface for the outflowing moisture is utilized.
  • the roof covering there is a simpler installation of the roof covering by the roofer, since the matching in outer shape with the tile or ridge tile rooftop can be easily inserted or placed.
  • the copper sheets in the field of view of the roof surface are further attached to protect the roof covering against occurring over the years moss vegetation in the field of view that they come into contact with rainwater and the rainwater drain the largest possible area of the roof covering below the copper sheets overflows.
  • the rainwater dissolves constituents, in particular ions from the copper sheets, which counteract plant growth, in particular fouling by mosses and lichens, on the concrete or tile roof tiles.
  • the copper sheets are formed in the form of ridge hoods and arranged along the roof ridge, so that the outflowing moisture can flow away over the entire roof surface.
  • the invention has for its object to improve such a roof covering for cleaning and keeping clean building roofs in terms of effectiveness.
  • the invention can be created by the fold of the lower, lower end face on the underside of the roof covering a space for a water reservoir from which the moisture can drain relatively slowly and thus significantly increases the reaction time becomes. It is sufficient already a simple, ridge-shaped fold, which is designed to form the tile. As a result, the total reaction field can also be reduced, or relatively small copper sheets are used, so that a total of material savings is achieved. In addition, the resulting reduction of the reaction field results in a smoother appearance of the roof covering. Furthermore, this improves the handling of the roofer.
  • an advantageous embodiment here is that the fold can be bent at the lower end edge simultaneously with the punching at the top of the roof covering.
  • the created edge as an extended lower edge also results in a visually appealing joint for the brick or concrete slabs of the building roof and increased dimensional stability.
  • a roof covering 1 is shown, which is adapted to the shape of a roof element or roof tile 5 arranged thereunder.
  • the roof tiles 5 are fixed in each case with a fixing lug 7 on a battens 6 and the roof truss in the usual way.
  • roof tiles instead of roof tiles, other roof elements, such as concrete roof tiles or bituminous sheets or the like can be used as a basis.
  • the roof covering 1 is made of plate-shaped material, especially copper sheet placed or slipped over. This is first punched out in the production, wherein at the same time in the course of punching machining by bending a slight curvature is incorporated.
  • a structured reaction surface 2 facing outward from the roof surface is formed by punching a plurality of indentations (indicated by ovals in FIG. 2) and / or apertures 3 in the reaction surface 2.
  • a bent edge 4 in the form of a downwardly extended edge is formed on the here to the left, due to the roof pitch deeper end face 1a of the reaction surface 2, so that the reaction surface 2 with respect to the roof tile 5 is raised by about 5 or 10 ° ,
  • the liquid drain on the reaction surface 2 is inhibited, so that the outflowing moisture (rain water, snow water and the like) must travel as long as possible along the openings 3.
  • part of the rainwater is passed through the apertures 3 to the bottom of the reaction surface 2 and the acute-angled cavity 8 formed there.
  • This water enters a water reservoir 8 and is retained by the dimensionally accurate lower fold 4 therein at least for a short time.
  • Fig. 1 the front view of the folded towards the bottom edge 4 is shown, which is formed in the punching or bending machining in a tool.
  • the barrier-like, anti-drainage design of the fold 4 can be seen on the downwardly facing end face 1a, thus a rapid flow of water out of the room 8 safely prevented because of the dimensionally accurate adaptation to the respective roof element form or roof tiles 5.
  • Fig. 1 the roof covering 1 is shown in the mounted position on a roof tile 5 in the form of the so-called. Reformpfanne, which can also be replaced by other concrete form panels or conventional tile shapes.
  • Reformpfanne which can also be replaced by other concrete form panels or conventional tile shapes.
  • the arrangement of the rooftop 1 located between the side edges 1b, structured reaction surface 2 with the openings 3 can be seen, as well as the front side 1a downwardly oriented fold 4.
  • On the lower edge of this strip or web-shaped downwardly bent edge. 4 could also for bridging the minimum gap still a sealing element 9, eg a sealing cord, a hose, a sealant or the like. Be mounted to further inhibit the flow of moisture from the water reservoir or space 8.
  • FIG. 1 A further embodiment of the roof covering according to the invention is shown in FIG.
  • the roof element 5 located under the plate element is designed as a so-called Frankfurter pan.
  • the roof element not a single, but two parallel to each other in the direction of flow extending recesses in which correspondingly shaped portions of the fold 4 protrude.
  • the plate member 1 from top to bottom initially close to the roof tile 5, then in the region of the line 10 to be detached from the tile, whereby the sharp wedge shown in FIG Room 8 is formed.
  • FIG. 4 A third embodiment of the roof covering according to the invention is shown in FIG. 4.
  • the roof element 5 has a flat surface without recesses, whereas the plate element 1 has a depression embossed in its lower section, in the region of openings or openings 3 are provided.
  • the fold 4 only one of three inclined plate surfaces 11, between which the recess or the moisture-absorbing pan of the plate member 1 is located.
  • a sealing compound 9 is preferably provided in the lower region of the plate element 1 between the overlying edge of the plate element 1 and the tile 5, which is intended to make it difficult to drain the moisture or water present in the depression of the plate element in a controlled manner.
  • the sealing compound 9 can advantageously have an adhesive function, so that together with the partial sealing of the lower receiving area for the moisture simultaneous attachment of the plate element can be achieved on the tile.
