Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Ventiltrieb für eine Brennkraftmaschine, mit einem drehbaren Nocken, welcher Nocken eine Nockenumfangsfläche, einen Grundkreisabschnitt, einen Exzenterabschnitt und seitliche, den Grundkreisabschnitt mit den Exzenterabschnitt verbindende Flanken aufweist, mit einem um den Nocken angeordneten, als Kette ausgeführten Umschlingungselement, welche Kette mehrere aneinander gereihte Kettenglieder aufweist, und mit einem Gaswechselventil, das an dem Umschlingungselement angelenkt ist.
Der Ventiltrieb (1) kann dadurch optimiert werden, dass die Nockenumfangsfläche (14) im Grundkreisabschnitt (9) und/oder im Exzenterabschnitt (10) zumindest eine Erhebung (24) und/oder eine Vertiefung (25) aufweist.
