Abstract

L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne pour un véhicule, ce moteur étant équipé d'un carter de vilebrequin (1) contenant de l'huile de lubrification et sur lequel est monté un bloc-cylindres (2) doté de plusieurs alésages (7), lesquels sont fermés par une tête de cylindre (3) disposée sur le bloc-cylindres (2) et pourvue de couvercles de soupapes (4) pour couvrir le mécanisme de soupapes monté sur la tête de cylindre (3). Selon l'invention, des éléments guident une jauge d'huile (8) indiquant le niveau de l'huile de lubrification, ces éléments se présentant sous forme de canaux (9a - 9d) moulés traversant au moins la tête de cylindre (3) et le bloc-cylindres (2), leur sortie supérieure servant à l'introduction et à la sortie de la jauge d'huile (8) dans la zone d'un des couvercles de soupapes (4).
