LA PLACA DURA CONTENIENDO MATERIAL DE MADERA, QUE ES ESPECIALMENTE IDONEA PARA PAVIMENTOS, TIENE UN CONTENIDO DE FORMALDEHIDO DE COMO MAXIMO 30 MG POR KG DE PESO DE LA PLACA SECA. ES MEJOR SI EL CONTENIDO DE FORMALDEHIDO SE ELEVA COMO MAXIMO A 10 MG POR KG DE PESO DE LA PLACA SECA. EN EL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE ESTAS PLACAS DURAS SE LLEVA EL MATERIAL DE MADERA EN FORMA DE POLVO A UN CONTENIDO DETERMINADO DE AGUA. A CONTINUACION SE MEZCLAN LAS PARTICULAS CON UN MEDIO DE IMPREGNACION INTERIOR Y SE DOTA ESTA MEZCLA EN POR LO MENOS UN PROCESO DE TRABAJO ULTERIOR, CON UN AGLUTINANTE DE RESINAS SINTETICA PARA LA AGLUTINACION DEL CONJUNTO. ESTA MEZCLA ES VERTIDA COMO TORTA Y PRENSADA EN CALIENTE. COMO TANTO POR CIENTO O EXCLUSIVAMENTE SE ADICIONA AGLUTINAMENTE DE RESINA SINTETICA EN FORMA DE CONDENSADO DE UREA-FORMALDEHIDO CON UN CONTENIDO DE HASTA EL 2,8% POR PESO DE FORMALDEHIDO LIBRE, REFERIDO A LA MASA SECA. UNA PLACA DURA DE ESTE TIPO PRESENTA COMO MAXIMO UN CONTENIDO LEGALMENTE AUTORIZADO DE FORMALDEHIDO.
