CON EL FIN DE MEJORAR LA EXACTITUD DE LA MEDIDA, SE PROPONE QUE ENTRE EL ELECTRODO DE CONTACTO (6) EN LA ATMOSFERA DEL HORNO Y EL ELECTROLITO DE MEDIDA (1) VAYA COLOCADO UN ELECTROLITO DE COMPENSACION (8, 12), QUE CONDUZCA LOS IONES DE OXIGENO, EN FORMA DE CUERPO RIGIDO SEPARADO, QUE ESTE EN CONTACTO CON EL ELECTROLITO DE MEDIDA (1), POR UNA PARTE, Y CON EL ELECTRODO DE CONTACTO (6) POR OTRA, Y QUE ESTE CONSTITUIDO DE TAL FORMA, QUE RECIBA LOS IONES DE OXIGENO DE LA ATMOSFERA DEL HORNO CIRCUNDANTE EN LA MEDIDA EN QUE SON PRODUCIDOS MEDIANTE UNA REACCION DE ELECTRODOS DEL ELECTROLITO DE MEDIDA (1).
