Abstract

Estructura de cátodo de caldeo directo y método para fabricarla, incluyendo dicha estructura una pastilla porosa en la que se impregna material catódico, un primer miembro de metal que se fija a la superficie inferior de la pastilla porosa, un segundo miembro que se suelda al primero y un filamento interpuesto entre ambos; el método incluye las etapas de fabricar una pastilla porosa con una pluralidad de cavidades, soldar un primer miembro de metal a la superficie inferior de la pastilla porosa mediante una capa de soldadura fuerte, impregnar material radiador de electrones en las cavidades de la pastilla, y soldar un segundo miembro de metal al primero, de manera que se disponga un filamento entre ambos, con lo que se prolonga la vida de la estructura de cátodo. Es de aplicación en CRTs en color para televisiones y monitores de ordenador de pantalla grande y en pequeños CRTs en blanco y negro.
